"None of those Chinese workers make enough to afford an iPad.. even Henry Ford saw fit to ensure his workforce could achieve ownership of the product they slaved on."
@snarfeater Foxconn, among the other suppliers that Apple uses, is a company that is contracted to provide a service. Foxconn's employees are not Apple's employees. The people that actually work for Apple most certainly can afford to buy Apple's products.
As owner of Apple, he was directly responsible for the production of the IPhone and IPad at factories in China where there had been a countless number of suicides among discontented workers during the months of March and April of this year. At several Foxxconn plants where Apple products are made, there have been horrendous policies in place such as workers being forced to work between 80 and 100 hours of overtime, workers being forced to stand on their feet for 14 hours a day,
Steve Jobs contributed a lot more good to the world than bad, unfortunately even the visionair had to little faith in the capitalism that made his company Apple Computer great and give it the ability to begin, thrive, lose and rebuild an thrive once more.
As a person, although not a Mac boy I do see the good Jobs has meant to the people even doing great things for mankind but let's not make him more than what he was, he was a man with all his greats and his flaws but a man. We will be missed
@MartijndeGraaf1001 Because you'll get marked as spam. People live in a fantasy world they don't want the truth or even see it. To me Steve Jobs was a very good salesman living out of hardworking people that only earned $24 a month.
Steve job said: ''Apple is a sinking ship and his job was to point it at the right direction'' I hope it does sink and die
@mrbit 10 Great job on this man, classy as usual. Its really great that even the Apple haters are paying respect to Jobs and all he has done, except for the true trolls. I know from being one of your subs that you have a great respect for this man.
Wow your are still an asshole aren't you? Were you born an asshole or did you got to school for it? I think it is safe to say more people like me than like you.
@Slixors Thats not the point, of course any human life is valuable but just cause steve impacted peoples life and in this case mrbits there no reason he can't pay respects to someone he admired and someone who did so much to the world in no way is he disrespecting others out there
What a dumb comment.. Ofcourse not.. but in my eyes, he saved the company and brought back Apple where it is not.. There are working many people at that company.. And who knows how many people he saved with that..
As a windows guy, I don't agree with a lot of the philosophy at Apple, but there's no denying his impact on the world and culture. I was born in 1975 when the revolution was starting, and I feel like I was too young to really get in on the action. But thanks to youtube, I can go back and look at the Macintosh unveiling, or the Apple II. Steve should be up there with Thomas Edison and Henry Ford as a genius that changed the way the world operates, and there's no going back to status quo.
Your statement is flawed for several reasons. I know the press has said it many times but it is flawed non the less. I will have a video explaining why very soon.
@adobePC Jesus, I always knew that you had no class but now you strive to outdo yourself. Look, you don't have to like the guy, but it is undeniable that Jobs contributed greatly to ushering computers into popular culture, setting trends, defying conventions as well as empowering all of us, even you.
On top of that, we're talking about a human being that was an inspiration to multitudes of people in the tech realm and has passed away.
@purvesh96 Well if I built a company up from scratch, got kicked out of it while it was at its zenith, had the people that kicked me out beg me to come back after 12 years and have my business strategies potentially become required reading because over the next 14 years rebuild the company into being the most valuable company in the world in an event that will be recognized as the greatest comeback in the history of capitalism.
@purvesh96 He had earned to right to feel proud of his accomplishments and be severely critical of those that aren't meeting their full potential in his eyes. It would be different if he didn't accomplish anything, but he did.
Some people didn't like him, but if he really crawled up their asses that bad, they always had the ability/right to quit and I can tell you from experience that is the ultimate freedom.
I'm more of a fan of "The Woz" but certainly Steve was "The Brains" of Apple taking a company that was failing and from the ashes reborn even stronger. Excellent video and tribute Mrbit.
He was one of the most human men to walk this earth we wont forget you. Rest in peace....from your windows fanboy

He was a man that knew how to sell tech to most people.
I believe Steve Jobs the innovator was the CEO of NEXT and Steve Jobs the Salesman was the CEO of Apple.
