  • What a beautiful animal you have here!

  • @Esinololly Thank you so much!

  • Do you breed Asian Leopard Cats or Bengals? True ALCs are wild cats while Bengal Cats are a domestic breed; I didn't know it was even legal to own an ALC, though Bengals are relatively common.

  • @TheMdnghtShadow Dpending where you live, it is legal to own ALC's. Yes, ALC's are found in the wild; however these have been raised in captivity as have their ancestors for several generations at least. Yes,Bengal cats are a domestic breed & got their origins from breeding an ALC to a domestic or feral cat. Besides the regular SBT Bengals there are also EG or Early Generation Bengals.

  • @isakhelgi Yes, I can pet them & hold them! They sleep in my lap. Yes, I can play with them & do! The momma loves to play fetch. They love to give kisses & head butts. They are very loyal, loving & love attention. They are very shy around strangers & will hiss & spit if they feel threatened. They prefer to flee or hide if threatened but I am sure like any animal if threatened with no other choice they would protect themselves. They are not aggressive.

  • Where can I get these?

    Are they legal?

Do I need any papers to have them?

How much will it cost me? (expenses such as food)

I kinda wana get one in the future. ;)

  • @rafacaca22 It depends where you live whether they are legal or not. If not, you can always get an F1 Bengal as they are legal in most places. Make sure you check to see. If you are seriously interested message me so I can make sure you know what to expect & what there needs & lifestyle is so you can make an informed decision whether an ALC is right for you. They require a raw meat diet plus supplements. Probably around $50 a month plus any vet expenses. They can be expensive to buy.

  • Such Amazing cats! Do you breed ALC's ? My wife has been looking for one for a long time but a CITES document is required showing proof that they are ' sub-species'. Problem is We don't live in the states for one and secondly, many breeders don't have proof that their cats are sub-species causing legality issues. My wife and I would really like to know where we could buy one legally. Let me know if you have any information.

  • @ahmadbari Thank you! Message me privately & I'll gladly give you any information I can, point you in the right direction & make sure you know what to expect and are prepared and willing to take it on. Youmust live where they are permitted though. If you don't & aren't prepared to move, then consider an F1 Bengal if they are allowed. I look forward to hearing from you!

  • I've been thinking about getting either an ALC, Geoffrey's Cat, or a Serval in the next few years when I'm ready. What are your experiences and is there anything you'd recommend? (I've been thinking about exotic animal husbandry courses for starters.)

I was offered an opportunity to rescue a wild cat once and had to refuse, but the more I learn about these animals, the more fascinating I find them.

  • @FascistFemale The ALC, Geoffroy and Serval are all very different! Message me and I will give you more information on each and recommendations. Yes, exotic animal courses - if it's the right ones are good. I can make recommendations there as well. Learn all you can about their specific traits and needs before making any decision. Also make sure it is legal to have them where you live. I look forward to hearing from you!

  • @acatastrophe Yes, I have! I have a number of Bengals - they are very specieal cats! That's what got me interested in researching ALC's and I fell in love with the ALC. It is very rare to hear them. There isn't alot of study or research so there isn't alot known and alot of people aren't familiar with these amazing animals.

  • This is wonderful. Are you familiar with Bengals? I had one who has since passed, and he was very special. His name was Jesse James. ALC are in their lineage. This is the first time I heard their utterance.

  • out of interest are they playfighting?

  • @Minwu925 Yes, they are play fighting. It's a mom and her cub. The mom actually teaches the baby how to play when it's young and corrects it when it is too rough, etc. The mom plays very gentle.

  • No, ALC's are not aggressive. I cornered and threatened, I suppose like most animals they would defend themselves, but they prefer to flee if possible. They are very shy!! They prefer calmer people and environments. They will hide if strangers are around.

  • @hopecats man ALC is probably the most bad ass cat breed in the world. I hear that they're very aggressive when it comes to protecting their owner. is it true?

  • Oh God, they're just so adorable.

  • @OhEmGeeKillingSpree How would you know? They are happy, loved and have everything they need and want and are safe. They did not come from the wild, nor did their parents or grandparents, etc. They would not survive. They are beautiful. loving, sensitive animals.

I noticed by your channel that you just randomly insult others so I'm not taking this seriously!

  • @OhEmGeeKillingSpree Get glasses.

  • @FascistFemale THANK YOU!

  • @hope4cats No problem. It's just irritating to see teenage drama queens regurgitating PETA propaganda at responsible owners.

  • @OhEmGeeKillingSpree ''sigh'' another troll bites the dust, and its not abuse abuse means mistreatment and as far as i see it they seem to be treated well by the owner so plz stop trolling

  • @OhEmGeeKillingSpree u just suck u fucking goblin

  • @OhEmGeeKillingSpree You're an idiot

  • thank you!

  • That is a cute kitten

  • beautiful.. is bindi pure ALC?

  • @Felisbengalens Yes, she is a pure ALC and my best buddy!

  • @hope4cats I also have one pure ALC. I found her in the forests of Java. she's about 5 months old now. she was very tame. but when she was eating, he didn't want to be touched by me and always growled. whether bindi also acted like that?

  • @Felisbengalens I would love to see a picture of her! I think it is commom for most animals not to want to be touched when they are eating. Bindi will growl if I try and move her food. Some cats I have don't like to be touched when eatings, some are ok. I try not to disturb any when they are eating.

  • what does the little one eat? im having trouble getting my little alc to eat anything. It just keeps drinking milk.

  • @muadmz Did you breed your's or did you get it from someone? ALC's are very picky eaters and alot of times will only eat what they were given when young. Mine eat raw chicken, turkey (drums) or game hens with Apperon vitamins and calcium for exotics. The baby was eating ground turkey (Jenni-O) mixed with the vitamins and calcium. You can also cut chicken or turkey drums in small pieces and add the supplements until they are older to eat the drums. Some ALC's won't eat ground meat. (cont)

  • @hope4cats I had one that eats a science diet food. I only know it is very hard to switch food on them. If they are introduced from the beginning they are more adaptable, but it depends on the cat too. If you'd like more info - please message me. I'd be happy to call you if need be too.

  • They are gorgeous and have beautiful tail.

  • @irisstuart Thank you!

  • what breeding results in this cat???

  • @sprawlNbrawl87 2 asian leopard cats - they are their own breed. One breed to a domestic cat results in a Bengal cat F1.

  • @sdeschanel1 Very true! The Bengal cat of today originated that way. F1's are still bred as well - along with other foundation breeds F2, F3.

  • @sprawlNbrawl87 That is true - they are their own breed - Asian Leopard Cat. When they are bred to a domestic cat it results in an F1 Bengal. The Bengal cat of today originated this way.

  • that little one is very brave..

  • nice i got one

  • can u imagain keepin a leaperd awesome

  • moms showing it who's boss X )

  • WOW!! so cute and i love exotic cats specially when they have this wild leopard look. :)

btw i have 2 pixie bob cats..

  • Thanks for your comment! I'd love to see pics of your pixie bobs.

  • Such graceful creatures!

    Do they bite?

I'd imagine they would bite hard... like finger tearing hard...

  • No they don't bite - though if they did they could bite hard! They are taught when young "no bite" .

  • are they wild cats or domesticated?

  • Yes, they are domesticated exotic cats

  • hey I want to know how to get one too! Also which state do you live in? any regulations we need to look out for?

  • Message me and I can give you more information. What state do you live in? Some they are legal, some not. If not in your state, you may be able to have a hybrid - early generation F1 Bengal.

  • where can u buy an asian leopard cat at? i wanted to get one but we couldnt find any so we got a bengal instead...lol..

if anyone knows where to get an alc reply here

  • They are gorgeous!
