look.. in l4d2 there are 3 infected groups.. common infected aka the infected u see everywhere... uncommon infected aka infected that has some sort of special abilities or more health or more power or much smarter.. and there is special infected aka tank witch boomer hunter u get the idea.. but the clown is a uncommon infected but he has an ability to summon mini hordes.. just like boomers bile that attracts hordes.. he only screams and they come after the scream.

All these new infected are there own separate infected. The tank, boomer, hunter and smoker are still employed, along with these other infected.

Charger is just meant to break up camping survivors. The spitter is more quite and can't really be heard (IMO) The jockey is annoying and if you're team isn't paying attention he can kill you very quickly.

You can kill the bullet proof zombies using bullets; just shoot them in the back. The easiest way to do this is to first knock them over by using the primary fire, they will be lying on their stomach, then you just open fire on them.

You can only play as Special Infected not Special Common Infected, nor Common Infected. Special Infected includes everything but the wandering witch I guess.
