THANKS! I have been trying to figure that out for a while, this video really helped me, though I am still in CS4. Fellow CS4 people-the part he did in catalyst, you will have to do in Flash, that's it.
@bluebulb - hmm thats a tough one, did you save the buttons on transparent as PNG in Photoshop before you put them in flash catalyst that may work but personaly im not all that experienced with SWF but i think that may help or try different SWF settings but il research this for you pal and get back to you asap , thanks

for some reason. after the catalyst.
i extract the .swf to my webpage.
the background of the button is White. instead of transparent.

@bluebulb Had the same problem. choose the translucent option in wmode in dream weaver and it will make it transluscent.
