After two years now, the windows are still not finished properly, the french doors leak, the flooring was never fixed where they ruined a 1ft section of pristine hardwood, and they even took away the discount we were supposed to get. A day after the job was finally finished, we received a certified letter from Justin Hennessey from Champion of Dayton threatening to file a lien on our house if the balance wasn't paid by end of week. DON'T TRUST CHAMPION or Justin Hennessey! THEY ARE A RIP OFF!
I made the same mistake as you did by going with Champion windows. What a joke! We have only paid them initial deposit as they have never finished the installation and it has been almost a year. There is always an issue...... They called me today treating to place a lien against my house. We are looking to hire an attorney as well. Check out some of my videos I took.
33,000 later and a lots of calls and my Champion patio room still leaks. They come and just goop some caulk on it and say it won't happen again but of course after 5 times of coming I have lots of caulk up there and a leak. Not a great company to deal with.
12-30-10 Had Champion window of Dayton do a bay window install. Their subcontractors were grossly incompetent and I can get no satisfaction from the Dayton Rep. The install was not to code. It was not square. The window is now warping because of poor installation, not to code header, no lintel to support brick, missing sill studs. Missing insulation. I have contacted the BBB. Have found they have numerous complaints.
Note post below from @champion division manager Justin Hennessey!
I had Champion window put in a bay window in the front of my house, location is the living room, every year, when snow begins to melt outside, the bottoms of the windows leak water. Had a Rep. come out,and they always try to tell me this is normal, or its humidity from inside, or my gutters are iced up, or this or that, they suck!
Includes everything except customer service. Our windows have been unfinished for 6 months... Who cares about a warranty if it's not even as good as the paper it's written on!
I am making another video documenting the phone calls, missed appointments, no shows, and medical expenses we've suffered because of doing business with Champion. We've had to hire an attorney to help us get things resolved properly. During the month that our french doors were not installed properly, our electric bill was $300.00+ more than the previous month! There goes "Energy Savings" for the entire year! Not to mention the $4700+ in medical bills because of broken glass outside home!

We get dirt blown under our windows when the landscapers come buy and mow the lawn.
