A masked hero saving people who knows martial arts, that's pretty much one of the formulas Kamen Rider shows had since its beginings in the 70's, compared to other hero shows in Japan, the action in Kamen Rider had a more martial art feel to them. And if I recall, the hero saving the world wasn't exactly the main theme of Ryuki.

I've been a fan of the Kamen Rider franchise for a long time, I've seen the old and new Rider shows and I think KRDK is a good US adaptation of Kamen Rider Ryuki, it's different but great in its own way. Kit fights like a rookie while Shinji fights in a comical way. Shinji is more emo because he always dwell on his problems rather than solving them; I mean, in one episode, Shinji tried to quit as a Rider then Dragedder threathens to kill him.

the original knight wanted to save eri, but at the end he saved everyone else and thats why i like knight better and the other riders because they were characters the american one just shows them as the riders the only ones who have a background are wing knight, dragon knight, and inscciors. they made had quick little flashbacks with the other riders, but with the original they still had an outside life

You missed Chris/Sting. What's so interesting about him is that he has Zolda's illness. He was discharged by the Marines due to asthma; but as a Rider he keeps on fighting and it even made his asthma worse.

And his demise is more dramatic and honorable than Raia's. It brought Kit to tears.

it's sort of good because zolda had a lot of show time and i thought they would keep him because of his final vent animation and he had a lot of showtime in ryuki and they were going to use those scenes in their series. still there is one thing i am not liking, they are getting rid of other riders too early
