i hear this is related to flamenco since the gyspsie in europe wre essentialy indian migrants who left teh north western regions due to instablilty and brought the culture with them
i am a kathak dancer and instructor too the foot work is actually hard for the begginers u have to see it from back side to understand it because u use the heels for these steps
it sounds like hes sayig it faster than hes doing it but oh my god its stil soooo amazin! its not as easy as it looks, takes skill and talent, n seriously very interesting to watch
It actually looks harder than it really is because hes going fast.. otherwise its not that bad.. :) the key is to learn the footwork slowly.. the more time that you put in to practice slowly, the faster you will be able to do it. :D
He was in Hyderabad for a while, im not sure if he was born there or not...im not sure who his guruji was, but he is settled in the states, he teaches in new york

I believe he is from Hyderabad. His Gurus were Smt. Maya Rao, Pt. Shambhu Maharaj, Pt. R.K. Shukla, and Pt. Birju Maharaj as well.
