its 'silent' at the beginning so that slavik's body movement is heightened. his body percussion is suppose to pose as music here, as traditional flamenco dancing often does, that is why the clicks and stamps are so rhythmical.

Slavik's intro is purely flamenco. He was in New York when he got lessons for this part. The part after the music starts with Karina is I thinka mix of paso doble and some flamenco. When the song "bamboleo" starts, it becomes a samba.

Wouldn't quite say Elena is the best female around - Joanna Leunis gets that award in my opinion. HOWEVER Elena is also magnificent * definitely 2nd or 3rd. A truly amazing dancer and with Elena in particular,videos don't do her justice. She oozes feminity & class & the improvement she has made this year is unbelievable.
