I remember this commercial panbiscuit. The girl in the diaper is so cute. I would like to see the coomercials from when Pampers size 6 first came out.
Huggies was the first diaper to put designs on the diaper. They did it around 1985 just for the summer. instead of putting them on the waistband they put them all over the diaper. However it was pampers that actually started doing it full time around 1987 with the introduction of true refastenable tapes. The characters were called the Pampers Dri-Bears.
The kids in the diaper commercials are usually 3-4yrs old so they will do what u want them to do does that make any sense to u guys?

Does anyone have any other Luvs commercials from 1985-86 when the Baby Pants were being produced?

The main tot in this comersal also looks a little too old for diapers, although she could be 2 at the youngest.

They didn't need to pay all those people to be in the add, I doubt that in real life, Teens are going to stop and watch a tot in a new diaper.
Also, it's cute that they hav two girl tots kissing each other, and a little disturbing. (What!, your born gay? it's not a choice?)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure that at one time the Luvs diapers had a floral design for girls and pinstripes for boys, right?

designs on diapers probably didn't start till the early 90's my neice and nephew were born in 87 and 88 and their diapers didnt have designs on them.

How come there were no designs on the diaper?
b3d 5 years ago
I think that there were no designs on the disposables prior to 1985. Pampers prospective.

It might be 1985, or 1986.

Most likely 1984, or maybe 1983. I remember this commercial very fondly myself.
