@TheBelaire This is in SoCal. Off the 210 FWY at Azusa HWY 39, head towards the mountains. Once into the canyons, cross over at the bridge keep going. When you see the sign that is at the start of this video start going!!! Search google maps for Glendora Mountain Road. We start from the Azusa side and ride to the end of GMR. You can also go to Mt Baldy. Another good ride is Big Tujunga to Wrightwood on the 2 - about 140 miles of twisties round trip!
Are you actually touring on this bike? If so how did it work out? I may want to go from a cruiser to a sportbike soon and the hayabusa is really growing on me, but I'm the kind of guy who likes to ride around, and tour sometimes or go camping on my bike. Any info you could give me? I know a few guys use their hayabusas to tour.
@Dp908 You can tour on any bike. Just slap a pair of sport saddle bags and a tank bag and you are good. I have ridden to places and camped, had enough gear to take with me - tent, etc. I have been on the same roads on my friends GS500 and found that to be great for the twisties - a nice, light, bike. From cruiser to busa might not be the best idea because of the 100 HP difference. The busa is a beast, heavy but handles great, and it cost me my license.

@motosporttouring Well, the 100HP difference isn't no big deal. I've been riding and racing 2 stroke mx bikes for years, and there's more get up and go on tap from take off in 1st and second gear than a busa could probably ever hope to have. Thanks for the reply. I really like these dang things, but I'll make sure it wont cost me my license. lol
Nice video , i tryed the pr2's on my zx14 but had problems with tyre spin and slide coming out of corners and never felt really comfortable with the front tyre, when they wore out i put on Q2's and they have been fantastic so far. But in saying that i use pilot roads on my hornet and there just fine for that bike due to a lot less power etc than the zx. Great ride and thanks for your time and effort to do this ...thanks
@kiwicookiebear I agree with you on the tyre spin and slide coming of corners on my cbr1000, when I bought the bike 7 months ago it came with a near new pilot power front and this pr2 rear, now almost 9000 k's later the front is almost near the wear indicator but the back still got plenty, the tread life of pr2 is amazing, but not a good tyres for sports bikes, unless for a highway rider ;) And what' tyres are Q2s?
@samfisherman007 The Q2's are dunlop Qualifiers 2nd series , they stick like shit to a blanket , very very good tyres that inspire confidance and give you maximum lean angle without the oh fuck momments i've had on other great brand name tyres. I would recommend them to my friends who like to ride like rossi . Try a set i dont think there is any way in hell you would be disapointed. cheers
I used to run the Q2's, and loved them, then I started running the D211 takeoffs and fell in love! I didn't love having to change the tires out every 2000 miles but I could push the bike as hard as I wanted and I found those tires to cut like a knife! After getting stranded in the rain on a pair of D211 takeoffs with the tread showing, I decided to switch and try these. I have been happy for the most part except for one front tire slide which wouldn't have happened on D211s!
@mactsk Thanks for the comment. It is good at switch backs. In this video, I had just put on the new tires and wasn't 100% comfortable yet. By the end of the day, I was riding the way I did when I had track tires on...too bad my camera battery died! New camera soon - the goproHD!
Where is this stretch of road?....looks fantastic!
