Gentleman Joe, the longest odds against winner since Theodore won the St Leger in 1822, I remember Ted Lowe said when he won in the Crucible the year before. A really wonderful striker of the cue ball, dead in the middle giving it a beautiful sound and also like his opponent a very clean potter where they went into the pocket invariably without touching the sides. Unfortunately, he was up against Davis who was technically as near perfect a player can ever be.
