@BugattiJoe I don't agree, this is a very effective way of removing the momentum of the kick... They may have been shit kicks, but its worked for me in the past. You gotta be fast on your feet to get this in though! (I'm not trying to start anything, just an opinion)

Wing Tsun, WIng Chun, Ving Tsun..they all share teh same principles. Interpretations may vary from instructor to instructor. After 35 years of practice and teaching in different parts of the world, I can say that this WT is for real. Congrats Sifu and Kepp it up!!!

i just started wing chun over a month ago so i really cant say i know alot but i see with modern wingchun they stay in the centreline of the opponent and my sifus theory is once you are out of the centrline u have the controll so a basic pak sao and move to the left or right would put you in an advantage dependinng on the strik i guess so what i basically mean is once youve adapted to move out of the centreline u have that 2-3 second chance to do the job

congrats, you just figured out why this is called "demo". How long did you need for the conclusion? In a fight with an uncoopoerative opponent, he would not stop after one ellbow, or after going to ground - like shown in this demo. An uncooperative opponent would have his knees broken - you can cooperatively bend, or stand and break

and this is just a demonstration u can't take this for real, in a real streetfight u need 50% power an 50% technik, WT is like 80% technik and 20% power. U will never fight like this on the street, i was involved in a lot street fights an the most peopel who were fighting did sports like muay thai or wing tsun, it depends on since when you train.

Every martial art style is effectiv on its way.

Das Dumme an Wing Chun ist das es wenige Bodentechniken kennt. Bei einem Kampf ist es allerdings sehr wahrscheinlich das es auf dem Boden geht, man schaue sich nur mal ufc oder pride an, da werden die meisten Kämpfe am Boden gewonnen.

You've got a lot to learn before you can start teaching other people things. You can start by learning Wing Tsun maybe you get some sense knocked into you... But then again you're probably too shallow to ever grasp the principles of Wing Tsun.

That wasnt a gan sao. It was a kwun sao and a wang gerk. The kwun doesn't necessarily touch, the kick knocking out the base is what protects you. You guys can get almost as bitchy as the mma idiots. Great vid though.
