That would be 60,000 milliwatts. You can make one for about $1,000 but don't do it unless you really know what you are doing. That thing will blind you so fast that you wouldn't even know that it happened before it was too late. Keep in mind that some people worry about eye damage with a 5 milliwatt laser pointer, but this thing is more than 10,000 times more powerful.

I'm new to the world of High Power Laser Diodes!

If the beam is Infra Red, what causes the "purple" glow, or in some cases "bright white" glowthat I have seen with some of the Higher Power LD?

@PURELIGHT010 That color is how a camera CCD sees Infrared. In real life you would see no light at all, or possibly a very dim dark red color, depending on how sensitive your eyes are to 808nm light.
