Billy G not a bad coach, just not as good as expected at UK, secondly all those RUMORS off court who knows if they are true,the DUI proububly but the other god only knows. Him RUMORED to have mistreated players and cussing them out in the locker room may have been true but how is that diffrent than how Bobby Knight treated his players. and I gurantee Billy is not the only coach that cussed out hios players. I would have liked to see him stay, but it really does not matter cause we have Calipari.

I have been a ky fan all my life I bleed blue and I said when we hired billy g that he would be gone in 2 years it was a bad hire he shouldnt even been considered for the job I said 2 years ago that we should go after coach cal barnhart finally realized that his job was on the ropes and he had to find a coach that can handle the pressure of uk basketball and coach cal is the one who can do that

If Tubby won 26 or 27 a year, and Gillispie won 20 per year for 2 years, why speak against the change? Off the court Tubby was outstanding and Billy G unfortunately was lacking. It was evident to all. Not up to high expectations either on or off the court. So give his bosses credit for accountability for high standards.
