@curtishockey889 right....and yes the resolution is crappy, i went to the verizon store and played with one, while i had my iphone in hand. so 3.7 inch is minimum you say, so i take it the droid x will be its coolest at the size of the ipad? cool. how about my iphone fits perfect in my hand and pocket and i can text and pinch zoom with one hand, thats what i like. as far as the reception, i got a free bumper for that :-p

those of you bashing the retina display, how about you try using it first...this is want i want in a phone #1 quality of display #2 ipod #3 ease of use #4 dependability.....the iphone 4 has all those, well maybe except for the antenna issue, but i got a bumper for that! :-p and now im getting reimbursed....anyways the droid x is just way to big, and crap resolution, the iphone is nice and "normal" size so i can do things with one hand still---like text, or pinch zoom....honestly hmdi...who cares

This and the Incredible both got 5/5. I think even Kevin who's a big iphone fan is starting to think twice about his phone. The iphone 4 only got 4/5 from them. Android/HTC/Motorola are really stepping things up and coming out with amazingly awesome phones.

we're on the verge of higher megapixel cameras, 1080p video recording, faster processors, and higher-than-iphone screen resolutions. personally, i don't care about the full HD video recording, and whatnot, but it's nice to know i can, you know?

plus, gingerbread is coming, eventually, which makes it even better.

i was going to buy this phone, but i rethought it, and i find that

It DOES NOT HAVE MOTO BLUR. There is no Moto Blur, no Ninja Blur, just Motorola's widgets available.  Check the specs on Motorola's homepage, the phonearena review, phandroid review, etc..

@sportsdreamer6 This will be Verizon's flagship smartphone and they will be marketing it heavily. I don't think there will be supply issues. There were supply issues with the HTC Droid Incredible because Samsung is hoarding most of the AMOLEDs they produce for themselves for use in their Samsung Galaxy S variants (AT&T Captivate, T-Mobile Vibrant, Verizon Fascinate, Sprint Epic 4G). The DInc is supposedly going to use SLCD now so supply for that should be better.

Dont get me wrong iphone has its superiority!! but until they change their hardware (Antenna), software issues, and carrier (AT&T) they will never have full credit as being the best phone.
