@bztyou19 There is no doubt that All Blacks have crumbled every world cup except the first, but I wouldn't downplay their success by judging them by their performance in a competition that has only been around for 20 or so years. Rugby has been around for over 150 years, and the All Blacks have won around 70% of their games.That to me makes them the best team in the world, although I guess we are all entitled to our opinion.

@bztyou19 There is no doubt that All Blacks have crumbled every world cup except the first, but I wouldn't downplay their success by judging them by their performance in a competition that has only been around for 20 or so years. Rugby has been around for over 150 years, and the All Blacks have won around 70% of their games.That to me makes them the best team in the world, although I guess we are all entitled to our opinion.

@bztyou19 The world cup really just brings together all the best rugby teams into one competition. But the winner is really only the best team "at the time" unless of course they can maintain their no.1 spot. Look at South Africa, they have gone from world champs to world chumps;even Scotland beat them. That's why I think the All Blacks are the best team. Same goes with rugby league, yea NZ won the last world cup but Aussie is always considered the team to beat.

@bztyou19 I think the opposite, when people think of rugby league, they think of Australia because they acknowledge them as the best team in the world regardless of the world cup. Same goes with rugby and the All Blacks. Though I guess we can talk about this all day and still come to no mutual agreement ha. I think we will just have to agree to disagree on this one.

It happens with every decent team in any sport. No team including SA and AUS treats any game in between world cups like they "don't matter"; they are all must-wins and that's what makes the SH teams great. Im sure that even if the All Blacks win the world cup this year, the rest of the world will still find something to complain about.

For another, these particular guys are undefeated at the junior world cup for the last 4 years, nearing 20 straight wins, and they just beat wales by 96 points. I think they have earned the right to do whatever the hell they want.
