You got some great footage of the GMA train! Nice captures of Diane, Robin, and the other folks from the show too. I caught the train on the move, but not while it was at its station stop in Rochester. Nice work!
yeah i got to see the GMA train in Worcester MA. One of the first railfans to ever see amtrak superliners in MA. that is the last time you may ever see superliners in MA
So the train must have started in New York somewhere, headed through Palmer to Worcester, and then headed back, where it made its official stop at Palmer.
I know Nhlives caught the Pullmans (with the GMA P-42s) going up the MNRR Hudson Line. I don't know where the Superliners came from though. I doubt they came from Sunnyside Yard, because first of all Superliners aren't used in New York because the tunnels can't accomodate them, and second, they would have to go up to New Rochelle first, and then take a freight line to the Hudson Line. I'm thinking the Superliners came from Chicago and the two trains met up in Albany where they were put together.
well thats only what ive heard though could of come from anywhere i know that the thing that looks like a f40 came from newyork and so did the engines.. the cars idk except the private cars those r pennsies
