only the penhold forehand is faster the backhand is usually very weak and really hard to attack with. with shakehand you can easily attack with forehand and backhand which can give you a huge advantage if you train your backhand tospin properly.
@yakuza289 that's true, but most ppl don't train their backhand so much. That's kinda sad actually, because a good backhand can be a really good advantage.
As long as it goes back in and doesn't result in a strong loop or smash it's usually okay. But I think he should have punched the ball instead of pushing it :(

@5WChainBreak If you train hard enough and get RPB down well you can do as much as you do with shakehand its just how good your at it.

The penhold grip is better at attacking since it gives more speed, and the shakehand grip is better for defense.

Some pushes by Asian Penholder was really awful. So slow, so unaccurate..
