A church that keeps statistics on its attendees and members, like Second Baptist Church Houston, will eventually benefit from the mark of the beast. They will be able to keep track of what visitors people like to do at the mega-church, their car and food purchases, website history, where they attend, their personal information, and other helpful statistics and facts that will help them market Second to its visitors. Exactly "30,197 attended one of 16 Christmas eve and Christmas day services."
Spring 2012 The Second Scene church magazine: "30,197 attended ONE of 16 Christmas Eve and Christmas day services." How does Second know whether the person walking through the door went to only ONE service. I went to TWO services many years ago. Also, how do they get such an exact number? Do they include those sitting outside in the lobbies or that came in late or left early? "37,985 attended ONE of 16 Easter services." Exactly, not "Est." or "Approx."
2012-2013 SBCHouston Budget: Publication stayed the same at $740,000 even though according to The Second Scene membership increases by thousands each year. Also, the cost of paper and ink should increase. If they pay postage, that might increase. The Second Scene is sent to people in the church database, as wll as, those that have not attended or given money to the church for years. Big expense telling people attending church about the greatness of SBCHouston. ~91,007 people baptized in 2011.

Only members and registered visitors to Second Baptist Church may create an account on second.org." Sounds like the beast (on file/records) requiring registration or a membership (member number) to church. Can you see how Revelation and Second Baptist Church Houston are related?

January 2012, Ed Young said that there were x number of Christians in the world. How does he know how many Christians there are? Curch membership or attendance does not determine whether a person is a Christian. How can somebody with an alleged doctorate be so ignorant? What is the reason for his ignorance? Old age, senility? If I was attending Second trying to choose a church or religion, I wouldn't choose Baptist or SBCHouston based on Ed Young's sermons. Ed makes Joel Osteen look wise.
Ed Young (SBCHouston) said that after a person becomes a Christian as the Bible teaches, they can go to Hell if they stray too far. He said that at the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012. That is not what he said in years past. What changed? Did the Bible change? It has become a fun game to listen for Ed's inconsistencies and lies instead of the Biblical message. Seeing the people on tv at West Campus is just like watching cult leader Jim Jones in California. Same type of people.
Sunday, January 8. 2012 - "Happy People Run from Anger" I did not read anywhere in the Bible says telling the truth which may not be nice about somebody is murder. Dr. Ed Young says that is called slander and is also murder. Did you hear him say that. "Thou shalt no murder" is the 6th and 10th commandments?
These pastors will come and go but the Word of God will never pass away. He is not mocked. If Pastor Ed want to make bedroom/church/wealth/sex his god – he should not mislead others. We should NOT toy with the MOST High God - who has the power to lift-up and bring down! His omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, immutability and infallibility will remain forever. Let God take all glory and honor for everything including this post.
West campus - minimum of 100 10x10 booths at the 2011 Celebrations Christmas Market = $40,000. Pretty good take. Matthew 21:12 "And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves."
If you would prefer to pay by check or money order, feel free mail your order along with your payment to WINNING WALK, PO Box 1414, Houston, TX 77251." What is the Harris County or Texas legal code that allows the church to not register an assumed name when DOING BUSINESS AS a different name.
Ed Young of Second Baptist Church in Houston does not tell the truth about California SB777 during his 9/25/2011 9:30 a.m. sermon. What is says is similar to the things that Hitler said about the Jews. Ed seems to be attempting to push people to hatred and possible hate crimes. Homosexuality may be wrong, but hating them is not any better. How did Hiltler rise to power? How is Dr. Ed Young staying in power?
If the members pay $141,000 to auditors and attorneys for the annual audit of the financial statements, why don't the members of Second Baptist Church Houston receive a copy in the Second Scene of the actual yearly financial statements? Are the tithes and offerings going for the audits or being embezzeled? So far the second looks true. No proof to members of actual audited financial statements.
YouTube ChurchShift - Endorsement by Dr. Ed Young . Endorse movie on June 12, 2011. Endorses Gov. Rick Perry twice. Once by having Rick perform at a July 4th show and once by having Gov. Perry give a speech during a church service. chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/7607414.html Perry's church giving falls below average. Since 2000, governor has donated half a percent to religious groups.
YouTube search: "Dance Your Shoes Off" An SBC advertisement. Is the counter set to number of views or number of viewERS? If one person watches the video 100 times, does that count as 1 view or 100 views? I was told that the person putting the video on YouTube has the choice on how to set the counter. What do y'all know about that?
