My wife and I did the Train at the end of March 2011. Very nice! Great food! Very relaxing. Excellent service. We did the Dome Car tour, then walked around the other cars. At the end of the first stretch where it stops in St. Helena, the Santa Fe engine unhooks and comes around to the back to connect. If you like trains, I suggested walking to the back observation deck when the Santa Fe engine reconnects and blows it horn. You can pre-buy wine for every course. Better to buy as needed.

CNN mentioned that it's possible that when Marijuana becomes leagal in Calif., the Napa Valley is already getting ready for the change. If so will we be seeing the Napa Valley Pot Train?

I hope so, because a lot of people up here in these parts of Nor Cal don't dig wine vines. But we sure love our 420 economy!
