The worse gun Remington ever produced. Bought brand new. Jammed on first or second shot every time. Took to gunsmith and said he has a shop full of them with nothing wrong except poor engineering. I have had an 870 for 14 years and it hasn't jammed once. Come on Remington, get your act together!

It kicked out it's own shells first shot broken finger traded it. Thinking one in a million chance that a remington gun messed up. The second when u pumped it it woulnt let the shells out of the mag the third. I shot a duck shot a second then on the third it locked up wouldn't unload woulnt Nuthin depressing moment with ducks droppin in the timber like c
Absolutely LOVE this Shotty. It swings amazingly well, cycles flawlessly and is (so far) pretty indestructable banging around the boat. Payed $279 and am looking to get another for my son's B-Day. Have had it for almost a year. Might even use it for upland, though I do enjoy my Winchester 1300 20ga for the long hikes. Have never liked Benellis; Nova was $120 more on sale. Partial to Styers, Berrettas, Remingtons and Winchesters. Used to like Browning, but too much "Buck for the Bang".
Has anyone had a problem with moisture getting under the plastic and it rusting and ruining, cause thats whats making me lean more towards a benelli nova because it just has a coating instead of a plastic shell?
Randy Wakeman give it the "clunker of the year award" in 2009" also said it was the "worst shotgun ever tested in a decade". Also do a youtube search for "Remington click stick". , , , ,

The 887 is Remingtons attempt to clone the Benelli Nova. The Benelli SuperNova is a way better gun for an additonal $70. Which the SuperNova includes 3 chokes, 5yr warranty, shim kit, and comfort tech stock.

@fike301 dude seriously. your on every single video about 887. your the only one ive ever heard talking all this crap about this gun. i even went to one of the websites you said that said it was a poor shotgun, and i dont know what ur talkin about it said only good things. i guarantee you have never shot one and i have one and no problems at all. shoots almost perfect to point of aim. you just cant handle a gun thats to nice for you. benellis have terrible forearn rattle and i sold mine
