  • Oh so you race this car? Which track and how often? What's the cost? Any other race mods besides the exhaust + rims, cats etc.

  • @malaka1212 Yes. Port polished head. fordged valves. 268 cams. coils. sway bars strut bar.. drag radial tires. engine mounts... and other stuff i guess... bout 200 bucks to practice at pacific race ways and bout 40 bucks to race autocross at bremerton race ways... why???? lol

  • @flyinghandle717

hey guys, i have 2001 jetta vr6 5spd, and i want to know if putting headers but leaving the stock muffler will affect in any way, also whats the differenfe between stage 2 and 3 clutch kit? thanks.

  • Might sound very good, but looks bland as hell. A stock muffler looks better than that shiet lololol... I gotta wonder what's with these clowns trying to make their cars look so plain. Everywhere I go I see pimped-out dubs with sweet paint jobs, rims, even some body mods. Then you look towards the back and expect a sweet looking muffler, but NNOOO it's just a plain tin stock-looking tail pipe MAYBE 2 or 2.5" diameter, for god's sake stick a nice muffler back there to complete the look

  • this cars not built for show... built for track. i shiny tip isnt a prioity

  • @malaka1212 So what you are saying is stick a fart can jap muffler on it lol? Its not turbo, there for it does NOT require a massive 3" muffler. Jesus, its a fuucking dub not an Evo, he clearly runs his set up for a reason. Dont come on his vid of HIS car and try to tell him what to do, especially when you clearly arent a VW person from the get go.

  • @bharvey2010 You FOOL. Not a VW person from the get go? You're one of those geniuses out there that bases their entire argument on bloated assumptions. I've owned a 94 Corrado VR6 since 2003 with Schrick mods and straight pipes from exhaust headers to the back, ending at a single-tip 3" Remus muffler, made in AUSTRIA, not Japan; looks a hell of a lot better than this, if only aesthetically speaking. Plus, it's Youtube, I can go to any vid and say whatever the eff I want. Got it? Good!

  • @malaka1212 well thanks for "laying it all out" for me. Doesnt change my mind much.... But if you claim you had a corrado, a nice one for that matter, then thats legit. But like you said, you can come on here and BS till the end of the day and no one really knows. Thanks for being a douche about my "assumptions", I was only forming my own opinion about you based on the ONLY info i had, which was your comment. It came across as you were somewhat clueless. You cant blame me for backing up a dub =P

  • @malaka1212

lol he drives a honda... ahhy yoo dawg wheres that fart can yo gotta have that giant ass exhaust system to rid of the back pressure

  • just go whit 1 resonator , no cat . i have the same setup and sound amazing. 3 to 4 rpm , is pure sex.

  • sounds like my jetta

  • Hello, I have a exhaust system from TT 2,5 inch inox, with cat High Flow and downpipe 2 inch. Now I tuning my car with camshaft 268 from TT too. So, I think to change my downpipe 2", for Raceland Headers, do you think it's a better change ? thank you

  • before i got the racland i was just stock manifold and down pipe. So Racland is all ive ever known. but yes sound wise it gives a ton more sound in the higher rpms. and performance is a little better for sure. the only downfall is you get header ping. which just means you can hear the engine internals working and clicking. only cuz the header is thinner than stock. you get that with any header though. id buy it again. order it. keep dubbin!!!!

  • my mk3 has the 2.0 with a tt downpipe eliminated cat and pretty much straight piped to my borla. i also have a tt chip intake and it gets up and goes pretty quick. its pretty cool because the one and only techtonics tuning shop is 20 min away from my house

  • ya. I've pretty much done every thing i can do to this car for under 1000 bucks for one part. i have keskin k9s on it now too. ive already got the whole ingine rebouilt. full exhaust. brakes. coils. gti front end. wheels. tt chip. sway bars and strut bars. cotrol arms and tie rods. new bushings. all new barrings. i put too much money into this thing... my next want is a supercharger. i want some speed. but need the cash. keep dubin bro!!

  • why you going to put a muffler clamp on a borla. sounds nice but a exhaust like this one really needs to be welded.

  • why?

  • borla's are THE BEST mufflers for a v-dubb. thats what i have on mine. but if you want it to last, not rattle, and just sound a bit better i'd say get it welded. it doesnt sound like you have your suitcase muffler on there have you taken your cat out yet? you'll notice a pretty big diffrence in tone and better throttle responce. nice car tho i have a mk3 too

  • its a racland header to tt cat then tt piping to the borla. i want to delete the cat but wasnt sure if it was worth it. id like to get more sound out of it though. deleting the cat is really the only other thing i can do so ill probably try it

  • @flyinghandle717 if you wanted more sound out of it, then why do you have 2 resonators? cut both of them bitches out and it'll sound fucking amazing

  • @Joshuastephenk

ya i did that..... sounded ok. now im ported and polished head with 268 cams. 1 cat 1 res and no muffler........ the only way to go... its godly.. r32 godly
