I think this is a song that FINALLY fits his voice. In so many of the glee songs he sounds feminine and this finally makes him sound like a man, which IS weird since this the episode when they're supposed to sing songs that are from one girl to another and when people told me about it I was like OH SNAP another song that sounds like a crushed squirrel, BUT NO! However, most people are familiar with Cyndi's version. Therefore, it's her song. And it's easier to show a difference and be like, oh wow, I didn't know this was cover of that, when you link to her's as a reference. It's just common sense. And it's not an insult to Greg either.
