  • I like that it says "watchmen theme by Janis Joplin: as if Janis came back from the dead to write this song for the movie...

  • @WalrusesGunWild Before seeing Watchmen, I thought there would be no film that could top the Dark Knight... now its been kicked off my top spot by Watchmen. Dark and gritty films always do it for me.

  • Yeah batman is just awesome

  • did this movie win an prize for best music in a movie? If not, it should have...

  • that movie was really deep and dark and amazingly good, watching it kinda made me relize how the human race can be so destructive and how no matter how dark it gets theres always going to be a brighter side to it ........

  • that movie was really deep and dark and amazingly good, watching me kinda made me relize how the human race can be so destructive and how no matter how dark it gets theres always going to be a brighter side to it ........

  • why include this on the soundtrack disk and not 99 luft ballons?

this song wasnt even noticeable in the movie

  • October 12th Today,A comedian died in NY

  • The best scenes in this movie are - the intro, Rorschacks fight/s, Manhattan's monologue and that shot where the camera zooms out to the sound of All Along the Watchtower.

These are in my opinion of course, I personally found the rest of the movie quite boring, mainly with Rorschack whining on and trying to sound all gritty and mysterious.

    "Rorschack's journal...*snore* *snore* *grunt* *snore*"

  • the watchmen stuck surprisingly to the comic book . it was the best movie i have ever so awsome

  • I heard a joke once. Man goes to doctor, says he's depressed. Life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says "Treatment is simple. The great clown, Pagliacci, is in town. Go see him. That should pick you up". Man bursts into tears. "But doctor", he says, "I am Pagliacci." Good joke. Everybody laughs. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.

  • i´d love a sequel for this movie

  • @juanpiskate00 id love a sequel for the book, not the movie

  • I want to see a darker version of superman maybe something like watchmen

  • @hutchthecruck Superman is not a dark character. Superman in the comics is the embodiment of hope. Don't get me wrong I like Watchmen a lot, but that kind of atmosphere would not work for Superman.

  • @hutchthecruck

read Frank Millers version of batman

  • @hutchthecruck it's been a couple times, not the biggest DC fan myself though .

  • "Watchmen" is a great great movie!! I have watched it three times. Each time I watch it I find something I missed and the meaning gets deeper. I have to read the book.

  • What part of the movie does this song play?

    Thanks.

  • i loved how everything tied with each other in this great novel

especially the parts with the black freighter in the book :)

  • this movie, if your into it, really pulls you in and alot of the lines really makes sense in the right way. I just watched some footage of Alan Moore. Good people.

    peace

  • just overall one amazing movie! no joke!

  • Cult movie!

  • Una pelicula que merece ser vista, cambia a uno.

  • Everytime I watch Watchmen, I swear, I always realize at least one more thing!

  • @simply0errca Same here, I find the same thing happens with me to movies like A Christmas Story, and Meet the Parents. I guess you can expect that from a well directed movie.

  • @simply0errca The book makes the movie looks like crap. Read the book, maybe you won't miss anything.

  • @simply0errca You should try reading it...

  • Great movie how the hell did the writer come up with it lol. He must have been little crazy or have a big imagination. Maybe both

  • I have to say, even though the movie had its faults the music is very good and apropriate to the comic.

  • This movie was surprisingly good, probably best super hero movie yet, it was so dark and real

  • one of my favorite movies

  • @nemesis465 I must agree wholeheartedly. I was just recently able to get my hands on a coply of the movie, but I've read the book an excess of ten times. It is by FAR my second favorite comic book ever, only beaten by Sandman- Preludes and Nocturnes, which I have read about twenty times. But I digress. The Watchmen is supurb in any case, and my preference between the two lies in lengths shorter than milimeters.

  • @nemesis465 Well besides Dr. Manhattan, all the Watchmen are normal people who try to make a difference in the world, hence why they were called vigilantes. It's realistic because it's the first comic to portray how politics could effect costumed heroes when they realised the nation had more faith in them then they did the government.

  • @nemesis465 my favorite super hero movie would be the dark knight. then the watchmen and then batman begins. anyone else a batman fan?

  • @nemesis465 it is NOT a superhero movie

  • beautiful song all that needs to be said

  • great soundtrack, but i think i like V for Vendetta a littlebit more....

    maybe because of the dialogs?

butanyway thanks for posting and excuse my bad english^^

  • @thanatan86 he fact that rorschach is in the movie makes me want to watch it every waking second of the day, yes thats right RORSCHACH! he is the fucking man. everything he says is epic

  • i hate the fact the comedian died, he was such a badass!!!! oh well though good song.

  • he seen things for what they were, he knew the true nature of mankind

  • Well, he kinda had to, or the whole story couldnt happen. Besides, cool poeple die in real life.

  • great movie. epic soundtrack. best thing that's happened in hollywood in quite a while. :)

  • thats because the movie is not about superheroes fighting criminals all the movie long. Watchmen is so much more!!

  • calling the watchmen a superhero movie is like calling blade runner a robot movie, yeah thats what it is, but there is so much more going on.

  • I think the strongest scenes in the movie were the scene where The Comedian is killed, the intro, and the flashbacks.

I usually dislike movies about superheroes, but this was just awesome.

  • probably best movie i've seen in the last couple years.

  • I liked the times they are a changin intro...everything was just perfect as it showed the downfall of the golden age of just about everything and the song was just soooo fitting/good

  • Gotta love J Joplin....

  • Gotta Love the J Joplin!

  • Rorschach would be a great replacement for the bunghole in chief that we have now. No compromise not ever.

  • I own the movie and I don't know where this song was played.

  • I believe it was played in the part at the bar when the Comedian shot the Vietnamese lady.

  • yea it was

  • Thanks

  • neiither do i

  • This is an absolutely amazing movie! the music for it was picked really really well!

  • Somebody should do a parody as Roarsach called Me and Daniel Dreidburg XD

  • HA! yes

  • this was at the beginning credits

  • Nope, you're an idiot.

  • no battleherdent22, that was the times are a changin by bob dylan

  • I haven't seen this movie, but it has many good songs on its soundtrack!! :) I might want to see it now!! :D

    Thanks!

  • i think it has one of the best sound tracks ever, and that alone is enough to see the movie. But this is just an overall awesome movie
