hey to answer your question about where's the rei part come from in solty rei: Its the name of the person that put out that album/record that they listen to. Solty rei was the artist name. You see it right before roy comes up with the name solty.

I bought the whole series on XBox360 Marketplace and the ending of solty was the best i ever seen.

Its my 3rd favorite anime.

Personally Im surprised I finished it too, it pretty much gets progressively better after episode 12 and leads to one of those rare satisfying endings.(watch after the credits of the last episode) Which makes it worth watching everything before that.
