  • I really don't think that Karl Marx is someone Germans should be proud of. He constituted rebellion in Deutschland and made the Monarchy weaker. And the Monarchy symbolized honor, family, traditions. What was the Republic, but a cesspool of madness? No. Just no.

  • Nietzsche is probably the best thing to ever comed to walk a pair of shoes on german soil.. so GOD BLESS GERMANY FOR ONLY THIS SINGLE BLUNDER!

  • Bringing down Germany was the crime of the millenium. A noble people of Central Europe who gave Europe the deep furrowing plow, three-field crop rotation; plentiful food and domestic livestock and thriving markets. The first mechanical clock. First auotomobile. The first computers. Rocket science. Countless new medicines & mind-blowing technologies. First public schools. Rapid printing; Scientific education. 1945 was a huge backslide for Western Civilization. Look at Europe now! What a mess !

  • I have both Japanese and German in my blood, the best 2 countries in the world!

  • Pride of achievement is the shortest way to Hell. The same was with many countries before. In the Bible God is giving example about Tyre the most wealthy and wise at the time. Germans in their anthem sing Germany, Germany above all. This is the most evil nation on the earth build on robbing, killing Poland and converting millions of Poles into Germans. They were doing together those things with evil Jews (fake). Jesus Christ is coming and He bring justice for all the nations.

  • @hladami4 get ur facts straight! we don't sing germany, germany above all anymore! furthermore, you should inform yourself, what this meant when it was written

  • germany rocks

    love Canada

  • The german half of me srry :p

  • The half german in says tolike this vid. The irish half of me says to go get drunk. Eh, ill do both. :D

  • @LOLFORLOLZZZ haha :D

blondes our hair has gone dark let us all dye our hair red or blonde

because we are the people from germany .

  • You forgot Clauswitz.

  • Im proud to be a german American, even though im only 5/8ths german, I love Germany with all my heart and work to preserve my German everyday

God Bless every German in the world! ;)

  • Only in Germany and Japan these 2 countries in the world, you can find trains and buses arrive on time. Great countries and great people.

  • Tolles Video! :-)

Der kulturelle Schatz Deutschlands ist Unfassbar!!! Und das macht mich sehr stolz!!!

    Und...dich anscheinend auch :-)

  • I'm Finnish, I'm proud of my country, but I still prefer Germany. I made tribute video here too..sorry it's just too stereotypic, but I prize German "style"

    Sry for bad english

  • I am Italian and of course I am proud of my own country, but I think Germany produced some of the greatest minds in many different fields of art, music, literature, and science. Ignorant people only remember the horror caused by Hitler, but people with a heart prefer to remember the unmatched beauty of Beethoven's music, Goethe's poetry, and Einstein's theories.

One day I will hopefully live in Germany and get to experience all of it directly.

  • @wosclub thank you!

But Italy is great as well. I love Rome and Da Vinci, Machiavelli, Alighieri and Ceasar. And of course all of the Roman Empire. You must be very proud to have this in your history.

Anyway I wish you all the best for the future and a lot of fun when you visit Germany =D

  • @SaiyaKyuu

Thanks for your words. The internet would be a much better place if people would not fight over everything. I have never been in Germany. I live in America right now, pursuing a degree in Math and Physics and I know your country is one of the best places for those subjects. Also, my brother has been in Munich a couple of months ago and he said it is absolutely gorgeous.

  • You forgot Hitler

  • @Crox300 hitler was an austrian

  • @StarSkyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Its the same, and he rised Germany to main power, not Austria.

  • Long live Prussia!

    Remember the GDR,

Long live all of the Vaterland!

  • Ich liebe das Deutsche Vaterland!

  • Vivat patria in aeterno!

  • Tolles Video ♥ Long live our nation :)

  • well I am not a germanic I grew up at the other side of the ancient limes wall, so am I not german?

    Im european with german heart.

  • a lot of "negroes" as you call them, are in their heart and their mind german. as a lot of turks arent!

so it doesnt make difference wether youre black or white but your thinking and wther you are good.

  • dumbass, the jewish were german, and they were no gorillas but mostly smarter than the other germans and richer. and most germans were envious to them.

and just because someone is better thanand you envy him you cant support murder.

although many germans didnt knew the massmurder they knew that something went really wrong. but a lot other europeans wee also anti jewish. eg many french helped us to kill jews.

no more ignoration of human rights.

  • bissl kurz, aber ansonsten gut :)

  • Well, if it's called Germany, then it might be Germany. I actually don't care about which people want to call themselves Germans, if it's okay with the law and they respect our culture. And Einstein definitely was German, he was born in Germany, he grew up in Germany, he had a German ID, he grew within the German culture. So what is there to say against it?

One more Question, are you American?

  • @SaiyaKyuu You dont receive German heritage through culture or by being born in Germany or know the German language, you receive it only through German blood.

  • Excuse me please, but I AM German. So I probably might know the difficulties about my own country.

And if you could stop talking to me in this arrogant way, mister I-Know-Everything, then we could have a normal conversation. So where are you from, that you think you know everything about our history?

  • He actually WAS German. Jewry is a religion and Einstein definitely was not religious.

And you can't possibly compare a Jew with a Gorilla. Jews have nationalities from any country they are from.

  • Of course he is.

  • jaa schloss ludwigsburg°!!!!!!!

  • Germany is a beautiful nation with much to be proud of. God bless Germany from America.

  • @cncmach thank you and god bless america from germany

together we are gettin kill these fucking tahlibans

    (sorry for my bad english)

god bless germany and america !!!!!!!!!!

  • You forgot Mozart!

  • First of all, nice Video Ischi =D

Than, Einstein was born in Germany and lived here for several years till he went to America.

So it is correctly, that he appears in this tribute, due to the fact that he was born in Germany.

  • it's interesting to see Einstein on a tribute to Germany.

  • Why is that? Einstein was German, and I think all Germans can be proud of it.

  • ammis^^

    einstein sounds realy english

  • lol

    Obviously.

Well yeah, thats another reason why I made this. Maybe some people learn a little more about German History and great People in Germanys history and presence.

  • I didn't realize that he was considered German by ethnic Germans, since he was ethnically Jewish, which is why he fled Germany.

He then became American and did his most important work for the US. So as far as I'm concerned, he was American, albeit naturalized.

  • Lol... Stupid one... Einstein is a German scientist and he will ever be! America is just liek a soccer club, collecting all the good players and integrate them! Apart from that, Einstein did his most important work in Germany, like Wernher von Braun did, too.

  • Being a jew is only a religion, so he was for sure a German, and by the way, there does not exist a real american Volk, you are just a mixture of the whole world!

  • I must certainly agree that no such thing as an American Volk exists, especially since the word "Volk" doesn't exist. Thus I say agree with you on the condition that we use the same language (in this case, English) for the entire sentence.

As for "you are just a mixture of the whole world," You must realize that this comment is probably obvious, but may, in fact, be inacurate, since their is no way to test the hypothesis.

  • As for "Being a Jew is only a religion," do you need to hear the whole story of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the 12 Patriarchs, including Judah, and how after the kingdom os Solomon divided, the tribes of Judah and Benjamin merged into the Kingdom Judah, and when that Kingdom was taken into captivity by the Babylonians, the Babylonians called its members Jews. To this day, descendants of Judah are called Jews. Hence the term half Jewish, etc.

Even an ethnic Jew can practice any religion at all.

  • * should read: "kingdom of Solomon"

If you mean that a Jew is only a person that practices synagog-based Talmudism, then you are simply mistaken.

While there are still descendants of Judah who practice this modern rendering of Judaism, a non-descendant of Judah who does such is called a proselyte.

  • Schopenhauer and Nietzsche together - nice! Why no Goethe, though?

  • Thank you =)

Well yeah, I can't make up my mind about Goethe. I don't really like his pieces (perhaps it was because of a really bad teacher at school), so I decided to leave him out. I can't deny that this video is representing some personal taste.

  • No, you are most welcome! I, too love Germany and it's cultural heritage. I especially love 17th and 19th century Germanic philosophy. Goethe was a great human being, the last noble polymath that our supercilious species has produced. He managed the road system in Weimar. He fought against the French in 1792. He was a very practical man -yet, he is the author of FAUST! Incredible!

  • You really ought to read Johann Peter Eckermann's, "Conversations with Goethe". The final passage, where Eckermann recounts his last respects to Goethe's, is one of the most moving passages in all of literature.

Human beings like Goethe appear as frequently as Buddhas, ie. every three "incalculable eons". For all our electricity, We live in an age of darkness. Bereft of wisdom and true beauty.

  • Perhaps I should read it to improve my knowledge about him, but what I know now doesen't make him any special.

Faust... what is Faust. It wasn't the idea of Goethe. He just wrote down an old story which came up a long time before Goethes birth.

I think the story is interesting, but also kind of stupid. Why should knowledge be something satanic? That's an old, middle age thinking and not worth to be any philosophic. Just as the basic information which you get from the story.

  • But maybe my English is just not good enough to understand everything you're saying. I want to apologize for it, I need more practice.

And it's so hard when you are not forced to speak it all the time.

  • Nicely said, GordonMorrice!!

You seem to be an aesthete, indeed.

  • Well, I have been called an "ass", but never an aesthete! I see you have a video of "Scotland the Brave" on your favourites! I'm a Scot, so thanks!

  • You're welcome! I've always liked the Scots (proud, warm-hearted, hospitable, weird :-) )and their country.

And: "Ass" and aesthete - the one does not exclude the other, doesn't it? Oh, please, I'm just kidding!

Someone who is able to apply to the wisdom of Goethe and Buddha is a real thinker!

    Alba go brách!
