@kkimmmayxo Well accutane does have risks, so it is something that you should think about if you have unsuccessfully tried a lot of other medications, and if your acne is really severe. I don't know how bad your acne is or how many medications you have tried so you be the judge of that...The bloodwork isn't that bad. I didn't like it of course, since I hate needles, but it was only once a month so I could deal. Yes, I still have scars, but they are slowly fading. A lot less noticeable now.

I think it depends on your weight or something....and nope! Nothing beyond the average teenage zit from time to time. And it has been a year and a half now! :D

If u read the prospect on Acutane, you will find more negative side effects than indications. This is a vitamin A derivative, used in curing Leukemia and other serious illnesses. By taking this, all your other vitamins will lose their powers, as you overwhelm your body with this type of vitamin A. I have friends who have used Acutane and the effects were great, but only for 2-3 years. The acne comes back even worse. Don't ruin your body with this drug, u may regret it later... It's an advice...

Thanks! I'm actually wearing make-up in those pictures. I still have scars on my face, and it's still red, but I only stopped the medication last month. So I'll give it some time, and eventually they will fade. But it is SOO much better. My face is totally flat and I have no acne. :) I don't loose hope!! It will get better! :D
:D -Well I got this rash on my hands and arms which I used lubriderm for, and it worked perfectly! -I didn't really use any special brand of mousturizer or chapstick, just like, clean and clear, and the regular chapstcks you can buy at CVS or something, but I had to mousterize like 4 or more times a day.. -It wasn't that bad for me really. :)
So tell me about accutane? Is it like a skin product like proactiv? Because proactiv didn't work for me ;( ...... So I'm hoping accutane will work ;)
