@GinervaWeasleyPotter As far as I know nobody at the BBC has officially confirmed that it will end after it airs the fifth series however Merlin's creators did say at the very beginning that they at least hope to make it five years long. :)
@VERITASERUMUK The creators said at Comic-Con this year that they had planned out the show for 5 seasons. BBC has confirmed renewing the show for the 4th and 5th seasons. If there's more story to tell I'm sure the series will continue after season 5....I certainly hope so.
@silverarrow42 I hope so :D But the stories would have to remain as good as recently. I wouldnt mind the BBC doing films if they do not continue with the series after next year. I want Nimueh to return - just to see her and Morgana unite.
