how do u blend so easily??. is it a soft brush?, or what. my brush strokes are always soooo visible.

it sure looks like a soft brush. You might also want to try lowering the flow a bit. That usually helps. I've been following his video and experimenting (with mixed success); he doesn't give the exact levels, but I found that if you lower the hardness to around 60 and the flow to 70, the colours blend more like in his paintings. You can try mucking around a little bit, but those are the numbers that work for me. If you have a tablet you can also set the pressure and not worry about opacity.

3 Good ways of blending/blurring good are:

-To work in lower opacity.

-Use the blur tool brush (just in your toolbox)

-Use Gaussian blur (in filter menu) if you want to blur a particular area.

You are very wise. I have tons of gnomon videos and yes they're helpful, but they don't touch on the pitfalls of time distractions. You've reminded me of what's important and how to stay focused.
