  • I sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo did not think I would ever see these commercials ever again!!!

  • That crocodile has one smooth voice

  • Remember kids... if someone asks you for some of your cereal...

Instead of sharing or simply saying no, BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THEM. It's totally justified.

  • "Don't bashfull Sugar Bear PUT THE TOLL IN THE BOWL". I love that line.

  • Ummm...IDK, but does anyone else think Golden Crisp and Sugar Smacks look like little vaginas??

  • THUMBS UP IF THE NOSTAGLIA DRITIC LED YOU HERE

  • That's Sterling Holloway as the voice of Sugar Bear - the same guy who voiced Winnie the Pooh!

  • @MichaelSar12IsBack Are you sure? It doesn't sound much like Holloway to me. Besides, if it WAS Holloway, then Sugar Bear would sound similar to Winnie-the-Pooh.

  • @trev358 Says so on Wikapedia. Although it also said Garry Matthews voiced him on the show he originated on, "Linus the LionHearted".

  • no offense but you're really going to punch someone just because the want some cereal

  • i remember this shit. The bear made..... hell i guess this is the only cereal mascot with soul. : D

  • I wonder why my Mom and Dad never told me about the bear....maybe the commercials of showing animal abuse tells me why and they only talk about the frog when asking about this cereal brand...

  • I wanna know where sugar bear gets his drugs! :D

  • Holy fuck. Sugar bear is a bad ass!. He's like the Rob Van Damn of Cereal Mascots!

  • Put the what in the bowl?

  • @lariat1980 I think it's "put the toll in the bowl", as in a toll for crossing the log bridge.

  • Can somebody tell me where the fuck that boat came from?!

  • Golden crisp, it can make you son strong with its vitimans that you can rip the teeth right out of a gators mouth to make a boat

  • The Croc did come back joined by the Snake and the Tiger and Sugar Bear did put all 3 of them down permanatly.

    Gotta love cartoon violence.

  • i cant get enough of super golden crisp its got the crunch with punch. yeah!! i think the alligator aready had dentures seein how his gums came out with the teeth lol!!

  • Is that Robert Mitchum?

  • i always thought sugar bear was a cocky asshole

  • i used to eat golden crisps and no shit like this ever happened.

  • Anyone remember the two-part commercial where Sugar Bear practically obliterates all the other large carnivores in the forest -- just because they want some cereal? (I always thought Sugar Bear was kind of a dick.)

  • sugar bear is da man....err bear

  • @ThePookninja

Yeah. Sugar Bear kicks arse. I remember for a while they had small animation flip books of Sugar Bear kicking the ass of a snake & I think this same Alligator as prizes in the cereal box. I had 2 or 3 of them.

  • i remember this commercial as a kid

  • teaching kids animal abuse

  • he made a BOAT with OARS out of a LOG in 1 SECOND. bad ass

  • I remember eating Super Golden Crisp cereal as a kid and I got a Sugar Bear toy. Brings back memories.

  • They should make a movie of Sugar Bear - forget Yogi!

  • Put the toll in the bowl.

  • You know, even though Sugar Bear just beat up that croc, he looks so cool while don't it, I actually don't mind.

  • wow i can't belive i remembe this commercial it seems like a life time ago!!!

  • I love how nonchalant he is when when he beats someone mercilessly

  • lol he made that crocs teeth fall out. hahaha. man i love the older commercials. you don't see this kind of stuff on tv anymore lol.

  • Holy shit

  • That Crocodile got owned!

  • hahahaha yessss

  • They never show commercials like this anymore.

Heck I haven't seen Golden Crisp commercials in so long.

  • @evan22303

There used to be a time when cereal commercials were fun. Not anymore.

  • Nasty cereal, as a kid it was always a cerel I'd find in other kids houses. Always had a weird burnt taste to me. This was the 90's though, maybe the 80's version was better.

  • Animal cruelty.

  • wow I used to sing this theme song all the time. forgot all about this

  • God that bear is bad-ass.

  • Whats the deal with animals not ever wanting to share their cereal in these commercials? I mean sure, a "mean" animal is usually trying to take it by force, but it really begs the question: Whos actually in the wrong here?

  • I can imagine a kid wanting a new boat because his family was strapped for cash. So, feeling desperate, he ate a bowl of Golden Crisp and jumped into a pool full of crocodiles. The next day an article would read ''Tragedy! Young child falls into crocodile infested water. Police are Baffled.'' The scuba divers only recovered partially digested chunks of Golden Crisp and a little bit of flesh to allow identification... the horror.

  • I LOVE GOLDEN CRISP.

  • *crying laughing at the comments on this page* I loved this commercial this cereal still rocks

  • Nothing like emphasizing it's got eight vitamins so parents might forget it's got something like 70% sugar by weight, most of it in the form of high-fructose corn syrup. Candy for breakfast with a side order of assault and battery.

  • best one

  • Alligators are no match for a bear on a sugar high!

The Alligator came back for revenge with the Snake and the Tiger in a later commercial please post that one.

  • The lesson is that Golden Crisp will allow you to beat up alligators. I've gotta get some of that cereal!

  • Not allow, but enable you to beat up alligators.

  • Not beat up, remove the teath of alligators, so they're still alive if they don't bleed out the mouth, but they'll die of starvation.

That'll teach that alligator for requesting that bear shares its food!

  • One of the most badass bears in history ;)

  • The lesson today: Golden Crisp makes you beat people up.

This is a cereal I can get behind.

  • Couldn't hae have just shared?

  • Obama fan, huh?

  • So...he ripped the teeth right out of the aligator's FUCKIN' MOUTH, preventing him from ever chewing solid food again, and effectively killing him slowly?

    Man, 80s commercials were wiggity-whack.

  • @kvn8907 Yeah, soccer moms didn't care about cartoon violence back then. It was awesome.

  • @kvn8907 don't worry they'll grow back.

  • Hmmm...I remember this one...you can't really put violence like that in cereal commercials anymore, can ya?

  • can't get enough of that golden crisp

  • That bear is way too cool.

  • sugar bear was singing is ass off... LOLOLOLOL

  • golden crisp rules!!

  • the smell of coffee always reminds me of this cereal. These comments are funny as hell!!!

  • O_O this and smacks were/are SOOOOO good!

  • Sugar Bear was black!

  • This was one of the most disgusting cereals I ever ate, as a kid! It ranked right up there with Smacks, Crispy Critters, and C-3PO's, all of which I hated, as well!

  • I completely agree with you. I too as a kid thought this cereal had a terrible tatse. it sucked lol

  • There's a hidden message in there concerning teeth and the cereal.

  • what is it

  • Too much sugar will ruined your teeth, especially with that cereal.

  • True..

  • That gators voice sounds really familiar, does anyone know who it is?

  • Joseph Graham Pollock, Jr., he was my uncle. I just found this commercial after not seeing it for a long time!

  • LOL. Sugar bear looks high all the time.

  • That bear's eyes look suspiciously blazed.

  • i can´t believe back then they´ve used what is now considered cartoon violence to promote a cereal!!!...

    Classic ´80s!!! PRICELESS!!!

  • I wish someone would post the commercials from the late 70's where he would turn into "Super Bear!"

  • Man get that Bear a pair of pants please

  • I know right hes got that bear junk all dangling around all over the place

  • do they still make cereal commercial?

  • No. The last commercial that they made was the Security commercial with the granny, which aired in the late 90's. I have that commercial in my channel.

  • Man I didn't realize at the time how cool super bear was. Dude was like listening to some jazz or something..crazy

  • That Croc has suffered irreparable orthodontic damage, and is obviously traumatized.

Later that Croc is gonna go home, take a good long look in the mirror, at his now useless mouth, at the one ability to work for a living hes ever had, and blow his brains out.

His mother won't know until she checks her mail the next day, having been planting begonias in her front lawn. She will be inconsolable, and likely to press charges against Sugar Bear. He deserves it.

  • Fuck dude, thats funny.

  • @Norrec87 not just his teeth but most of his jaw otherwise they would have grown back but he just had to take it too far

  • @Norrec87 Alligator teeth grow back when they come off no matter how many times.

  • @marmik961 Oh. Well its still pretty messed up.

  • yea i remember Suger Bear commercials......he eats the cereal and defeats the bad guy..............similar to Popeye and spinach

  • THANK YOU for posting...I haven't been able to get that jingle out of head forever!!! LOL

  • sugar crisp forever

  • they turned him into a stoner.

  • where is the commercial where beats up on the 'old and honorable granny'?

  • Every time Kellogg's tries to put Michael Phelps on a box of Wheaties, they have to pay Post royalties because the box turns into Golden Crisp.

  • im eating golden crisps right now

  • Suger Golden Crisp bear = Steve Irwin

  • Thats pretty fucking old

  • That alligator/crocodile is hot.

  • YIFF IN HELL FURFAG

  • hey i was gonna say that...

  • That was great, takes me back. Does anyone have the short series of Sugar Bear commercials were he transforms into BIG & BUFF really Muscled up Powerhouse like the hulk and he's called Super Sugar Bear I just loved that ones they were so cool.

  • OMG I remember that!!!

    I was looking 4 that 2

  • I miss those commercials where Sugar bear kicks ass.

  • I remember this commercial. Memmmmmmmmmmmmmmmoriesss

  • I guess I forgot to put the brake lines innnn.

  • Yes I forgot to put the fog lights in!

  • Yes. That's the one! Lol.

  • Sugar Bear is so damn smug. And put on some pants!

  • I remember when this was Super Sugar Crisp. Then they changed it when the suits got nervous about the word sugar. Even Kentucky FRIED Chicken changed to KFC. But hell, the cereal was the same and even the bear is still called Sugar Bear. lol

  • The alligator now has learned his lesson, he needs to politely ask Sugar Bear for some Super Golden Crisp, that would save the alligator from having to get false teeth,,,lol.

  • Yeah, all the animals Sugar Bear has to take on try to force or threaten him into giving them some. :D Any of them think of maybe politely asking?

  • I forgot how much of an ass that bear really was. All the gator wanted was him to share the wealth...but nooooooo he has to be a douche about it and give him a "vitamin packed punch!" No wonder this bear never had friends in the commercials.

  • Sugar bear was a pimp, did u notice that the "vitamin packed punch" came from his strong pimp-hand? lol

  • Sugar Bear was the man !!!Kick some ass then walk away singing a tune

  • Sugar Bear is da man. ^_^

  • he's a sadist!

  • The Gator's animation and design reminds me of Brer Fox.

  • I think he may have "Bit off more than he could chew"

  • See what happens when cats dont ask politely? They get Sugar PWND

  • Homer Simpson sings that song in the Halloween show LOL!!

  • ...Sugar Bear's an ass in this commecial lol...he just wanted some Sugar Crisp! What is only SUGAR BEAR allowed to have some?

  • i know its not like he stole it he just wanted some for his bowl what a peice of shit

  • Nah, the crocodile demanded that Sugar Bear "...put the toll in the bowl!" Sounds like he was being jacked for his cereal. I would've gave him a vitamin-packed punch right in his grill. "Croc" should've ASKED for some, saving him from gettin' his ass kicked later. LOL!

  • Well, did Sugar Bear really have to be THAT violent...he could of made him say please or something rather than shoving a log thru his mouth and out his ass lmao!

  • LMAO, I just realized that. He ran that croc thru with that log. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  • *sings* "cant get enough of super golden crisp..."...that was one smooth bear though..lol..i used to love shen he sang that!lol...

  • That's one smooth mascot

  • there's gota be more in that cereal then meets the eye, 'cus that is on MELLOW ASS bear

  • yes you can still buy it its called golden crisp

  • Sugar Bear kickin ass was really cool lol

  • OMG I haven't had this stuff in ages. Can you still get it?

  • sugar bear is definately the homeboy of the breakfast cereal mascot world

  • I liked the superhero ones, where he goes "Unfair! Get ready for SUPERBEAR!" and does a superhero transformation.

  • back when Sugar bear was cool!

  • crack for kids. cant believe how they used to peddle this garbage!

  • hey, suga bear is a real og, thats my boi, but why they stop showing him?

  • because he was black.

  • I THINK YOU MAY BE RIGHT.

  • seriously hate these stupid cereal adverts it tries to succker kids into buying this crap buy saying part of this nutrisous breakfast the actual nutrition is in the orange juice and other thing crap they show the cereal is the worst part nothing good in it at all

  • Yeah, and they took the word "sugar" off of Super Suger Crisp, and Sugar Frosted Flakes, supposedly to make them sound more nutritious, and wouldn't you know it? Children in this country are fatter than ever!!

  • YES! Thanks for uploading this one. This is my favorite Sugar Bear commercial from the 80s. "Put the toll in the bowl." XD

  • Suga bear is an original gangsta, for REAL real.

  • Except here he sounded like Bing Crosby. The gator sounded like Jerry Reed.
