A very classy dance would result!

I love that Kevin pulled a backspin, glad he's mixing it up. Joe,nix nix on overdoing the choreography. Bitchin' fast spin Dan threw his partner in,but loosen up my friend and drop it. Nick and Carla killed it like usual, max's second go was great,he pulled out the new stuff. Gotta say I'm not a fan of Kevin's new partner,too steppy I don't know one of the couples that came on before max, but they are on to something they just need to tighten up P.S. Max's definately working Boogie Woogie

You're correct about skye I apologize for that mistake. He was so cleaned up looking I didn't even recognize him. I am fully aware of Kevin and Carla's split that's old news. You're playing a semantics game when I say new partner would you prefer newest, current, most recent? It's all just phrasing. It was not and ignorant statement just misinterpreted. Thank you for the other couples name. I hope they keep at it and seek out some outside training, they have a great deal of potential.

Max's sense of humor is something else. That stunt he pulled between 3:12 and 3:20 was hilarious. I love how Nick couldn't keep from laughing a bit even while he and Carla were beginning their first phrase.

So much brilliance in such a short timespan. But I really, really think first prize should have gone to Max & Annie - the level of power and musicality of their performance was so high up in the sky that...that I couldn't even see them. :)

Yes, brilliant swing outs for entirety of all-skate, Max and Skye! They likely would've won anyway, but smart way to make sure every eye was on them for the whole ending.

I love the clarinet from 2:17-2:24, and it seems like Skye instinctively hits that last note to send Frida into that triple turn.

Also love how he kept turning to look at Max while doing swingouts at the end.

This whole thing is full of awesome.

Double turn. So fast it looks like a triple at first glance, though. I feel like a great deal of credit is due to the band for the incredible musicality of this competition.

Not every band knows how to improv for dancers, and these guys -nailed- it.

You can see Skye and Frida and Max and Annie feeding off the crowd response. Words can't even describe how amazing this was. My favorite moment of ILHC, hands down!
