@aderonn If the grass is tall it might be a little. But the tube is bright orange and the plumber is yellow. This will make it easier to find it again. Tying a bright orange ribbon to the detonator's handle (spoon) will make finding it even easier.
I've never done airsoft. I have gone paintballing a few times. I was just wondering...in paintball, there's an obvious mark where your opponent was hit. there's no denying.
Is airsoft basically the same as paintball, only since there's no paint mark, everyone's held on an honor system? do people sometimes try to bluff their way out and say they weren't hit, or are they usually honest about it?
depending on the time of year, say summer, people get obvious marks on there body from getting shot. In the winter you have heavy clothing on where its harder to tell. You just have to know the people your playing with arent cheaters.
@237th well, most of the time they are honest. but i've played with some that just wont accept being hit even though there is a welp on their arm where they were hit.

It means that the grenade is being sold without the citric acid and sodium bicarbonate. This is because the Taiwan post office doesn't allow these 2 powders to be shipped internationally.
No, it doesn't. Getting shot by an airsoft gun hurts more. The only thing with this grenade is that it is loud, like a fire cracker. Especially if it's being used inside a room.
wow so cool!!! tell me how to make one (plans) or do you sell them or buy them anywhere ? , i think thats the best airsoft grenade i have seen so far!!!!
I don't know. I don't live in the US. I buy it in a shop which sells chemicals. You could try the internet or a baking shop. Citric acid is also used in food products.
It's true that its a little work to prepare the grenade and some water, soda and citric acid is spread around. That is how this grenade works. The benefits are that the grenade is not that expensive as compared to grenades which use gas and this grenade doesn't have different loose parts, so it will be easier to find the reusable parts after use. I don't mind people judging this video. I see that as feedback and I might use it to design new models for in the future.
I haven't starting selling yet. Most likely it will be airsoft hand grenade. I'm also working on making my own website. I will post it here when it's ready. And I can also send you a message to let you know.
You are right but so do the BB's we leave behind. At least this plastic is biodegradable. You can decide not to play or use this product in nature. Where I play there is hardly any to no wildlife. It's mostly a concrete jungle ;)
I'm afraid that I can't answer that question. That's because I don't know what those bio-BB's are made of. You should ask this question to the manufacturer of the bio-BB's. The mix inside is citric acid, water and baking soda. And the BB's will spend most of their time in the citric acid/water mix. What I can tell you is that the plastic shell is biodegradable and in the time that I have tested the grenades I haven't seen that it affects the biodegradable plastic.
Is it hard to find the detonators after it goes off in the grass?

yes thats correct, its all on an honor system.
And people do sometimes cheat, thats why the rules have to be strict about it.

this isn't safe at all what if it hits someone in the eye i wouldn't go selling this until you can make it safer
facegnawer 2 years ago
People who play airsoft always wear face masks or eye protection. This product is for them to make the game more fun.
As you can see in this video, I'm wearing a face mask.
micha747 2 years ago
your so dumb
tomcat955 2 years ago
and no im not i see people play airsoft all the time with no eye protection so i would say this product isn't safe
facegnawer 2 years ago
well, it's the customers fault if they don't wear face protection.

if you know anything at all about airsoft or paintball, the players wear masks or glasses. so know what you are saying before you say it.

you could try a foods store as its used in foods, you could try breaking into the chemistry room of the high school or break in a lab (jk) but yea
umahuma4 3 years ago
wats it made out of?
shootermike395 3 years ago
It works with citric acid and baking soda. The shell is made from plastic, which will be biodegradable for the final product.
micha747 3 years ago
Looks to messy. I didn't see any BBs either.
CutthroatBill 3 years ago
You should have checked out the other 2 videos before you judged this video and this grenade.
micha747 3 years ago
I just did, and it's still messy.
On another note, if you don't want people to judge from this video, why keep it here? You could at least put up some links to the other two videos.
