I needed a relatively big, reasonably formal, watch, with a metal band and a 60-minute bezel. This is the one that attracted my eye, and I find it even more beautiful on my wrist than it looks in the pictures here. I love this watch, it's my favorite watch ever. My only complaint is that I wish it didn't have the date display, which is too ...

The person doing the test doesn't know anything about testing food. That geiger counter doesn't detect alpha particles and some of the beta will be blocked by the wrapping. An inspector EXP with pancake probe is sensitive enough and detects alpha beta x ray and gamma radiation.
Improper testing method. 1. If you are going to test food sample, you need to Shield it from cross-contamination, i.e. gamma rays coming from other sources, which will affect the total results. 2. Your reading when you walked away from the food & went outside, did not change much. Conclusion: the food is fine, but you are in an area of .1 uSv/hr exposure, or .8 mSv per annual...
you can't test food with a geiger counter, you need a scintillator counter with an iodide crystal,... a standard geiger counter has a geiger muller tube which isnt sensitive to food contamination.. this video proves nothing..
Cool, good to see people checking their food for activity. I'd be less concerned myself when I can see that the produce has normal low level activity.
this video would be 10 times bette bro if you threw in a small commentary perhaps on the model and its features and what your readings are? PM me and i will be subbing, thanks

@LondonLanguageLounge
That is partly true. Yes you can not measure internal low radiation (especially alpha emitters) would not be detectable with my device.
But Fukushima is releasing still a lot particles. If anything gets in contact that it will surely detectable.
I am more looking for how much the food is polluted right now externally.
In the years to come it would be interesting to know if the low radiation (beta isotopes) are still in the vegetables from north Japan.

このビデオはすごくおもしろいですが、これは0.10mSv per hourか0.10µSv per hourですか?
