@MagickalHummingbird We could certainly do that in New York now, since they dont have residency laws regarding marriage..the new law granting Marriage Equality takes effect there on July 24th. Its exciting and we are thrilled...I cant wait for it to be extended nationwide. what a great day that will be.
Happy LGBT Pride Month! We live in NY, and we rejoiced for ALL when we got home Friday night and found out NY did the right thing. I'm glad that some couples that I know will finally be able to CHOOSE FOR THEMSELVES to marry or not.

Every year I look forward to Pride week here in Toronto...it's so much fun! I don't make it every year, but when I do I have a wonderful time! There's such an energy in the air. T.O.'s parade this year is July 3rd @ 2pm. I love going to it and watching the church groups in the parade who like to show not all Christians are anti-equality. :)
@TheVioletKat I feel the same way about Pride too...I always enjoy seeing so many Christian churches taking part in the parade and celebrations. So many of them have become allys to our community in our struggle for full civil rights...its awesome.
