Absolutely fabulous music! Bach's music stirs my passions more than almost anything I can think of! I defy even the most unmusical person to be unaffected by listening to this!
@mtv565 I agree; after listening to all of Bach's organ works for an extended period of time, I have to conclude that I think this is the best. If we think of the ideal of polyphony as making all voices be heard equally, never has greater clarity been achieved than in this one. It has strong melodic qualities and a superb structural balance, motoric drive and dramatic progressions. After 2 years consideration I'd have to proclaim this the best piece of music that I know.
@Protenor Try arranging this fugue for synthesizer/midi using crystal-clear, sonorous tones. You'll see its magic beyond the original but blurry organ version.
@Francis1930 Just when i thought that classical music videos didnt have the typical youtube retards that have opinions about everything and know everything. Go listen to your hippie-former-drug-addict role model and leave me alone with Bach. Do whatever you want just dont disturb the nice commentary of these videos. If you cant accept that Bach's music is of a higher level than paul mccartney then go to a psychiatrist or something to have it checked. It isn't normal.
@Francis1930 1) You start a comment with the expression "Fuck you moron" , what are you a rapper or something ?
2) You clearly related musical skill to religion -----> fail.
3) You said in the same comment that Bach was the greatest composer ever AND that he would be if he was Catholic. (??????) Do you even remember what you type ?
4) Having said all this you acuse ME for being inaccurate
toxiconegro Thanx for posting the script in tandem with the music, having posted my own videos before, with the words to the piece of music I'm posting I know how time consuming it is, you do a fantastic job of ensuring music and script go together, aand thank you for posting Bach.
Paul McCartney No 1 - hahaha - just goes to show how musically ignorant most Brits are! Of the others, they've only heard of Mozart, Bach and Beethoven. Thickoes the lot of them. Surprising they didn't have Robbie Williams.

I just saw some BBC news online poll of the greatest composers of the last millennium. Paul McCartney was #1. Mozart #2, Bach #3, Beethoven #4. Of those funky Brits. FYI: Marijuana affects the memory.
@Lassannn Those mainstream votes aren't representable in the long way. In 100 years nobody will remember Paul McCartney anymore whereas the other three ones will be reminded forever
McCartney is probably gonna be remembered so much more time, because what makes someone be remembered is his fame and his influence in the music of his time. McCartney was, and is a great influence still nowadays, and I gotta admit he's good as a pop composer.
On the other hand Mozart, Beethoven and Bach, apart from their influence, are simply great, clever and got a real sense and knowledge of what music is, they are superior and that can't be cuestioned, because it's a fact. Greets =)
@Lassannn Believe me being a Brit, the BBC don't speak on the country's behalf, For me and many Bach is #1, Paul McCartney wouldn't even come at the bottom of the top 500, it's only because of his link with the "Beatles" that people think of him, I personally can't stand Paul McCartney, the Beatles or Wings.
@Lassannn LOL some of us in England have been raised in a cultured environment. I and many of my country men love Bach's music, and see it as the pinnacle of Baroque excellence. It would seem that you too share our love for Bach's music. We are both cultured and appreciate music of the highest standard.
@Lassannn Paul McCartney, the greatest composer of the last 1000 years? Do the people who voted for him even even know the name of any composer before Bach (about 300 years)?
Maybe the Brits picked McCarntey because he's British. If they wanted to pick one their own, they should have picked a trully great British composer, such as Byrd, Purcell or Handel (a naturalized Brit).
Paul McCartney doesn't even register a blip on my radar. He'll be no more than a footnote in a generation.
@Lassannn how is mozary above bach, bachs ghost could write better music than mozart, not that mozart isnt great he is just no one can touch bachs music in my opinion
One of my favorite fugues, one of my favorite organ pieces, one of my favorite Bach compositions, one of my favorite pieces of music. Thanks for the upload.

This comparison doesnt make any sense in any way.
You cannot even compare paul mccartney to JSBach.
McCartney wrote music for the masses that can be understood on the spot by nearly everyone.
Bach's music needs years to be understood (in some level) and is mostly appreciated by musicians because it's so theoretical and complex in nature.
It's like comparing your high school physics teacher to Sir Isaan Newton.
