The SM 52 can be configured from 1 to 10 units, and as a perfector can be purchased from a 1 over 1; a 1 over 4,5,6,or 7; a 2 over 2,4,5,6 or 8, etc. Adding optional UV interdeck ink curing will allow for printing on plastics and foils.
Our heidelberg is in line meaning they do not piggy back or perfect.
However heidelerg does make a 5 over 5 press and I believe you can order a press that all 5 units perfect...The options are just about endless with todays technology in printing.
Transperant film I'm not sure about. I'm mostly a sheet fed lithography printer. I'm sure once you get into waterless printing materials it is possible
Just for notice: Dont buy an anicolor unit if the working room isnt fully climated. Thos Units wont work properly without a stable climate.

I work in a shop that has all Komori, I run a Heidelberg SM52 5 color with coater. I must say the heidelberg is far supior than the Komori.

Yes, I agree. Heidelberg is made by printers, for printers.
