Actually when you study 1 Timothy 3:2 it refers to a man. And when you look at the proceeding verses it says "he" about 5 times. not they but "he". whenever you read the Bible you must look at the context in which the text is in. the bible does say that if any man come to Christ he shall be saved, but given the context its in its talking about man and woman. but when you look at the proceeding verses it does not emphasize he, but they. Its important to look at the context of the scripture
You FOOL!! The scripture is plain. A bishop must be the HUSBAND of one WIFE. A woman cannot be husband, and a man cannot be a wife! If the qualifications of a bishop call for HIM to be a HUSBAND, how can a woman fit that criteria. YOU need understanding.
So is your director/manager/boss male or female at work? so if yes, then it is okay for a woman to be your boss, but a woman can't lead? That's crap and you know it. What about all the examples of women leader filled in the scripture? I suppose you only read in the new testament...new testament believer. Get real.

A woman can't not be a Bishop,The Bible,says in 1 Tim 3:2. A bishop then must be blameless,the husband of one wife,not a wife of a husband.
