Star Wars: The Old Republic First Impressions

Are you still taking in guild members ? I have been looking for a guild to make flashpoints available more often. It is difficult to find groups without sitting in the fleet for for more than an hour.

This review is good. There is a sense of humor, and you share important information on the game. However, I disagree on some issues.

You like having a strong death penalty in a MMO? To each his own.

My computer is older, so I do not mind the quality of the textures. I want Star Wars to compete with World of Warcraft, so not having the cutting edge graphics so they can have millions of subscribers instead taking the risk of only those with the best graphics cards is an okay trade off.

What do the dark and light side points actually do? If you are Jedi and get hundreds of dark side points do you get booted from the jedi order and maybe join the sith and vice versa?

If so that would be a cool system, otherwise it looks like these points are meaningless.

@CommanderZx2 I believe it's for equipment. Some equipment require certain light/dark points. Not sure what else they're for.

just an added tidbit about the UI, Bioware does plan on making it more customizable sooner rather than later. They actually seem to be listening to the customer in a sense of what we'd like to see changed or fixed, etc.
