I think the camera shaking is supposed to simulate a soldier holding a camera. The shaking is from all the chaos going on, the soldier is so scared that he is having trouble controlling his hands

I would have loved this map if u automatically spawned with ur teamates in a Higgins boat. Also the maps would be way more epic if u had massive parachute drops.

This game was made in 2002 the movie in 2006 so its old. The sounds are from the actual mod itself you hear them on the actual level.

And for him to direct this entire movie with so much cooperation is a great achievment.

They never had Tank support at Omaha. All tanks sunk in the sea or got shot before they could reach the beaches. So there is a little historical fault in this video ;) ^^

Wow It shows a lot of you only use refrence to Saving private Rhyn or medal of honor front line. There is more to Omaha beach. here was all the Support US can get, tanks,50 cals, planes everything. yet it was a hard beach to get through.

most of those sound affects were from saving private ryan , plus they coppied the d-day scene. where tom hanks hides infront of a bunker and orderying his men to run up the hill.

This map was added in FH .67. It's called Omaha Beach Charlie Sector. The map was modded after the fact to add the destroyer, sherman, and tracked landing craft.

Some historical in accuracies... Like the battle ship shooting... They pounded the beaches before the first wave of americans came on, not during, also NONE of the tanks made it, only a couple.

Actually a couple mad it ashore but were knocked out by artillary. Also, the battle ships did fire during the invasion. They heard of how bad the troops were getting hit on Omaha and one of the Captains brought is ship to almost beaching depth and fired away at the german bunkers overlooking the beach

m1rock, there was support from just about every Naval vessel during the invasion, from the main naval guns to deck mounted .50 cals. The stories we have all heard about the Naval ships charging in, basically grounding themselves, and firing at point blank range occurred at Pointe du Hoc. Some of the shells scored a direct hit on the main magazine and blew the roof of and threw it about 50 yards away. The Army Air Corp. was still doing bombing/strafing runs well into the invasion as well.

You have to go into the "Custom Game" part of the game menu and select FH and activate it. Or you can find a FH server and connect to it. It will auto launch FH for you.

Yes there is SP mode. The down side is you cannot play every map because most are MP only.
