@CoreThrasherGLB Listen from 1:19 to 1:50 . . . his technique isn't even that great, and it's hardly musical. Almost reminds me of Malmsteen. Vai on the other hand is much more musical and doesn't just run a few scales for a few minutes and call it a solo. It's flashy, but at some point, you start to see through it. Turn down the distortion, sharpen the tone, and make each note count. Nothing cool about whammy bar technique after a meaningless solo.
