@corncake3000 i don't think it would be very happy as a pet, and it would not be easy to keep as it's jumping everywhere. i believe it's a field mouse (eurasian type, "apodemus"), as we don't seem to have deer mouse (peromyscus maniculatus) in europe.
Yes you can keep them as pets - if you have to. I have one that my kids rescued from our cat - they nursed it back to health but by the time it was well enough to be let go - it was too cold to just set it outside. By the time it was warm out - the mouse was not going to be able to fend for itself. That was 7 (yes SEVEN) years ago and we still have her. She's really a cool little mouse. Loves to run on her wheel with treats!
Reverseflush that was the most creulest thing ive ever heard mice have feelings to i raised a baby deer mouse and now its my pet and it loves its warm home
we don't have those mice in europe, so it's probably not a deer mouse (or one with great swimming potential); though they look pretty much the same...
trick is to find the nest when they are young and toss em ino the dump. cruel but they are of no use now..maybe one day when food is scarce then they'd be a comodity
where WHERE DO YOU FIND THESE?!!

It's my friend PowerMousey. I've caught him a few times, very skillful little creature.
