  • Well as they say in the Netherlands, "Je hebt het verdient dat je jezelf verwent,

    met Royco Cup-a-Soup!"

  • who is the driver whose car flipped over?

  • @Nexxus79 Giancarlo Fisichella.

  • Kamikaze Sato did his work again... xD

  • aim for the saubers lol

  • always happened to sato but never to button

  • WOW!^^^^

    BIG VOMIT BY SATO!

  • i wonder why honda had so many engine failures when its one of the most efficient engines

  • Sato could have won the world championship.

  • Sato! Don't smoke its bad for your health!

  • it wasin the first few, and yes i understand dutch but cannotunderstand german. they are notsimilar

  • I lost count to how many times Takuma Sato had mechanical failures.

  • LoL fisichella

  • als deutsch hörtt sich der kommentar geil an^^

  • lol at his coughing at 0:09

  • ugh ugh hey war sen we :P beautifull engine blow :P

  • poor. engine failure in the last few laps.

  • @CptNeutralize actually the system back then used to count the laps down. so it would go from 77/77 to 0/77.

  • That commentary always puts a smile on my face

  • @darthbranko takuma sato, kamui kobayashi and lots more

  • That race was a classic!!

  • Honda engines blow the best of all :)

  • As I remember, Sato car had showed signed an engine problem in previous laps. Should the stewards forced the team to bring him in? I think its a grey area as in other normal race tracks, the stewards doesn't interfere. But one may argue that it could have been a disaster had the engine blow up in the tunnel, and thats a possibility the stewards should consider.

  • @Hornet85 Thats very true, i agree with you that it's an area they should look at. I think the drivers will always push until their car lets go though, it's just in their competitive nature.

  • Achterkant! I love the Dutchs!! :D

  • mechanics looks at his back on the start of warm lap, but they thought that he will finish.

  • The Nakajimas? that's such an ignorant thing to say.

  • That was a good race back then.

btw: I am german and can understand the whole commentary, didnt know that dutch and german are so similar.

  • @Eldarion92 They are quite similar yes! But it's the advantage of commentary: you see what's happening, so you can understand quite wel..

I can understand spanish commentary quite well too, while i never learn the language... :p

  • @Eldarion92 but when a german talks to (im dutch) i dont understand crab xD.

  • there was a good chance that if he had kept going the engine would have completely siezed before sato reached the pits. so to avoid stopping in the middle of a corner or spreading oil even further round the track he chose to stop in a postion where the car could be easily recovered. monaco is such a tight enclosed circuit that the smoke was always gonna be a problem. i don't think it really fair to blame sato

  • In response - Taki Inoue, Yuji Ide finished races in 1995 and 2006 respectively, not mentioning Katayama who had many finishes in Tyrell from 92-97 and even this season, Nakajima!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Shinji Nakano finished a few, Nakajima Sr, Aguri Suzuki, Yamamoto and a fair few Nippon drivers who raced in their home Gps

  • I don´t think it was sato´s fault. Yes there was smoke from his car since the race started but I believe he didn´t even notice that. The team should have told him to stop and retire. And Fisi should slown down

  • yay olav mol commentary, lol

    greetings from holland

  • Williams With Walrus Nose Aint seen that in a while

  • That was the only race when Fisico retired in 2004

  • he retired also in indianapolis..a few laps before the end..

  • also in silverstone

  • that was trulli

  • lol out of all places to make a smoke screen it just had to happen in monaco

  • Man those Honda's of that year, and the next - when they blew up they BLEW UP. And it was rather often with Sato.

  • Wow!!

  • "Hij heeft hem in de rascasse... oj... hallo? kuch, kuch, eh waar zijn we? " Briljant commentaar dit!

  • Cool but sometings missing

  • oy oy oy! lol

  • How many times have seen a normal engine blow up just like that?

  • @leverage1990 That are race engines! The engines are pushed to the max. So if they blow up it, it goes almost always like that.

  • @Bastl1990 Which, as a racing fan, I happen to know very well. What the hell had I been smoking while writing that comment?

  • BAR new Sato's engine was gonna blow, they should have pulled him in...could have a been an even worse incident there

  • Yes it smoked from the start. Fuckin stupid to play with lives..

  • very nasty incident

  • Goferi that is not us cards series

  • Wow, worst place to have a blown engine!

  • this is terrible...

  • BAR should have pulled him out of the race earlier.
