So how much do you have into this Mustang... Im guessing close to 80-90k now all the work youve done???? Must be nice to have unlimited cash flow lol.... share some with me!
I don't understand how you spent that much. how did you end up spending that much exactly? i estimate maybe about 35k to skyrocket a Mustang GT's performance all around
Well, that cost includes the purchase of the car @ $28,000 so that leaves $42,000 in extras. I ended up spending that much "Exactly" by changing just about everything on the car! I've got close to $22,000 in the Engine, tranny, Alu. driveshaft. Lets see, New 4 core radiator, New rear end with carbon fibre clutch packs and new gears, All new suspension, tube K member, Lighter tube radiator support, Big brakes, wheels/tires, body mods, interior mods, custom trunk, All the stereo shit....
$700 polished nitrous kit with a $250 custom airbrushed mustang mural, Stripes, hood scoop, custom front end with GT 500 lip, tinted windows, gauges, 3 custom tunes, upgraded 8 rib pulley system...... Tons of little shit and that is how it adds up. Its never cheap to go fast and look good!!
AND, i just spent $250 on another tune that is a little more extreme than my last break in tune that I pulled 615rwhp on. I still need to get it dyno'd for the final numbers but thats just more money!!! :)
AND, about a month ago I broke a valve..... Come to find out MMR had a bad bunch of valves they installed on there heads and I was Soo lucky to get one! They wanted me to send the heads in for them to inspect to make sure the other valve were ok but by the time I went through all that expense of shipping and waiting, I just decided to spend $900 on a new set of Manley valves and $200 to get the cam lobe polished that had a slight groove in it......
I ran one time last year after the new motor and street tires I pulled a 10.9.... this summer I will be running race fuel, upping the supercharger and with my meaty 315 DR's I should get some good numbers.
@millwrightman99 great looking car -- with the stripes reminds me of the day I picked up my brand new Boss 302 --- Orange and black -- but the feeling is the same ----- The only car I regret selling ---Might just have to pick up a new 2011 in black --I could never run better than 13 s though the technology was never there in tires and even carburation -- Everything has its time, but the Mustang was my most fun car --- quicker than my 1971 --440 charger or 1970 -340 challenger
does your car make a lot of low end torque with your super-charger or does it make its torque at high-Rpm range? im guessing its making lots of low end torque since u put 3.73's??? i heard 4.10's are great for automatics
My last dyno it had 500ft.lbs. of torque at 3800 rpm's. The PI stall is 3500 so I have tons of torque when the converter locks up! With the Centri blower, the higher the rpm's the more power basically. With the screw type charger, its pretty much full power when you nail the throttle.
With my new motor being a stroker, my stage 2 heads and the stage 2 blower cams, its got plenty of low end power.
Well, right now it has a Stroked and Forged bottom end, Paxton NOVI 2200 supercharger running 16lbs. of boost, MMR stage 2 heads, BBR cams, BBK long tubes, GT500 throttle body, Steeda delete plates and will soon be on the way to the tuners!!
At the time of the video above I had a stock motor with only a supercharger.
To add the supercharger to My Mustang I've got about $5000 in it with all the tuneing, dyno's and the charger. 6cyl.....???? I would guess that it wouldn't be a lot less
I had an extreme tune installed and it was really hot. Lined up with an 04 Cobra that had bolt ons and was pullin on him with every shift.. About 95mph heard a strange sound and saw smoke, parts bangin off the floor pan, wife askin if we blew the radiator hose, lol. I think it was a combination of tune, heat and just 8000 miles of abuse and it was just time to go!
Nice looking mustang. I had my truck dyno'd at a total of three different shops. Two were consistant, one was a joke. Enjoy the 'stang, I'm hoping to get one in the next year or so to build up.
My 451rwhp was at 5700rpm's......Not sure why they stopped there but my car shifts at 6500rpm's so the real hp numbers are higher. I gotta take it somewhere else for my next dyno, not to sure about the place I took it?!?
please be careful when u are driving it !

NEW MOTOR IS IN AND TUNED!!!!!
with 14lbs. of boost and 15 degree's of timing it made 614rwhp @ 6500rpm's. This is a Very safe and conservative tune....
