I had indicated over a year ago that this would happen, and it's only going to get worse - many more birds, and larger sea animals will get lost and die due to drastic temperature difference where they end up, and many will die instantly because the magnetic effects on their magnetoception organs and brains (the brain wave frequencies go haywire). One thing to point out that is inaccurate about this video - it was claimed that birds could see the magnetic field (via magnetoception) and know to follow it when they see it changing - well this statement implies that the birds decide to follow as opposed to being irresistibly guided by it. Birds don't think 'ok, the fields shifting, lets go guys'. I think that magnetoception in birds is more akin to how moths are drawn by light (transverse orientation) where instead of light, its magnetism.

And no, they don't tell too much other than in more scientific articles that most don't read. Mainstream media is occupied with news that sell and profits. So I research scientific articles. I live in the country that build the Svalbard Global Seed Vault also called Doomsday Vault and I've been following this in the news. They have more than 600.000 seed samples.

@cherrypie11061 Yes gas leaks are possible. There are tectonic plate movements, which again causes stress on other plates and gas can temporarily escape before the crust closes again. Seems to be some data on the Pacific plate having larger movements than usual as I have understood. If methane gas is released from the earth it would most certainly do something to wildlife. I believe all the sinkholes is due to these plate movements. Larger plate movements, more sinkholes, earthquakes etc.
