Got rid of it in favor of an EVO built by DEVO. Hated it! Nothin against DEVO, of course, the car was great, except that it was yellow, loud, darkly tinted, and so fast that it took this old mans breath away. Shit, that's what my hot wife does for free. Sold the evo, kept the aveo. Ya polak.

Lol, don't worry, most people with 3000GT non turbos would agree with you too. The non turbos are beater cars, extremely reliable and good looking cars but very few people have gotten any sort performance without going turbo on an NA DOHC 3000GT.

Notice at 1:03 how the spoiler moves? Called active aero and it was a feature that was built only on VR4's up until they dropped the feature after the 96 models. I'm guessing the wing you are associating a VR4 to is the 99 model, theres probably about 3 other spoiler styles on these cars.

i know that we made it faster than the gto with the j spec motor we took off the 16 g turbos and put on the greddy 20 g completely new rods and piston stock crank. 272 cams drive shaft shop drive shaft. freaking the list goes on and on but seeing how its a customers car that came to the school i have no vid. but i do belive i have at least a pic of it but it was nice it ran a 10.3 in the 1/4 on low boost.

Wrong. JDM motors are identical to USDM motors except for they have an electronic speed limiter (The JDM ECUs). The only engines that had more power stock was in Europe they had the 13g option from the factory. There were AWD NA (GTO SRs) and the like over in Japan though. The 6 speed models had different gearing, but thats it.
they are slightly different and i never said how much since you put that out there jdm directs from japan will alway be faster and they are different in ways such as emission and gear if it was the same my trans would of kicked in on point doing my swap and iv done a couple of em but for the last time i wanted to try something to see if it would work if they were the same motors i wouldnt of had a shift and ecu problem o and the trans are diff to jdm have an extra oil cooler americans 3000 dont

bro a gto is a total different model dude they have the sl..vr4...an gto...i had a 3000gt sl tho but i pretty much know my stuff on em..but not all are gto's trust me and the ones in japans are gto different spec no american 3000 is as fast as the j spec gto stock wise

i know that we made it faster than the gto with the j spec motor we took off the 16 g turbos and put on the greddy 20 g completely new rods and piston stock crank. 272 cams drive shaft shop drive shaft. freaking the list goes on and on but seeing how its a customers car that came to the school i have no vid. but i do belive i have at least a pic of it but it was nice it ran a 10.3 in the 1/4 on low boost.

Wrong. JDM motors are identical to USDM motors except for they have an electronic speed limiter (The JDM ECUs). The only engines that had more power stock was in Europe they had the 13g option from the factory. There were AWD NA (GTO SRs) and the like over in Japan though. The 6 speed models had different gearing, but thats it.

they are slightly different and i never said how much since you put that out there jdm directs from japan will alway be faster and they are different in ways such as emission and gear if it was the same my trans would of kicked in on point doing my swap and iv done a couple of em but for the last time i wanted to try something to see if it would work if they were the same motors i wouldnt of had a shift and ecu problem o and the trans are diff to jdm have an extra oil cooler americans 3000 dont

test drive a first gen 3000gt vr4 and that car was the most beautiful early 90's car ever, with all those features that it comes with.. wow i was stunned, the stock interior radio and all those buttons, the seats were really comfortable... too bad i bought a wrx over that, well it had some prolems cuz it was a 91 lol
