I bought my 89 Bird 20 yrs ago with 60,000+ on it and still have it to this day with 136,000+ ....looks and drives like the day I first got it. I no,longer drive it daily because I own two other cars and have no time to play with it. I love the Bird and I will never let it go!
true, my 89' bird hasnt had any problems and ive had it for 4-5 years (grandpa passed it down so its still like new) and my moms 03' VW jetta is in the shop at least once every other month. its such a peice of shit. you'd think a VW would last forever
ya my aunt has a 1995 jetta and that has been trouble same with my cousin her jetta is a 1996 and that has been trouble to so that just goes to show vw can be crap thats why i stay away form them plus the parts and very expensive to buy because people never just give them to junk yards
that car is better then a lot of todays cars it haves more of a pointed front end for better air fowl ...the Thunder Bird was the best car ....i love the 1987 Thunder Bird

I love my 92 SC 5spd. Really and amazing handling car for the early 90s. Rack n pinion - 4 wheel ind posi - 4 wheel disc.
