  • Lol Amaretto in Dr.pepper I need to drink dr.pepper more.

  • So, there isn't any "Dr. Pepper" involved? lol

  • why do you not prepare more? get some pour spouts on your bottles before you start filming.

  • @samyooel27 Because I record five shows at a time to publish five a week, preparation is optimized for what's needed. My viewers don't have pour spouts, so I don't either.

  • 1. light beer does help a lot. less taste in a beer is better for this drink. you want the beer mainly for carbonation, and a little flavor to add to the amaretto

    2. more amaretto in the shot. it's generally almost a full shot of amaretto, topped with 151

3.drop it in and drink it immediately, don't wait as long as you did. AND. do chug it. a lighter beer also helps with the chug.

good video, your style just conflicted with the best way to make this drink. well done though!

  • @hoodratstuffs oh and if you do all that stuff that i said, it really does taste like dr. pepper! lighting it on fire is not necessary, but sufficiently awesome to impress people. great videos! learning a lot

  • @hoodratstuffs actually it is necesary to light it on fire, because the burning 151 actually sort of carmelizes the sugars in the amaretto which is where you're getting that dr. peppery taste from. the beer is used to imitate carbonation of the soda and add volume

  • @watsthisguysdeal

I didn't know that, thanks for the knowledge :)

  • @hoodratstuffs that's how we often roll, conflicting with the best way to do stuff :) But it's fun non-the-less!

  • easy enjoyable show, really entertaining without too much bullshit

  • @schmendriks thanks!

  • yeah German beer! :D You should come over and mix some drinks and I show u more of the German beer culture :D

  • @infight I've been to Germany a few times, I've been learning the language for the last eight years or so, I usually speak German when I'm over there. The only people I speak English to are my German colleagues as it's easier for my specific job.

  • @everydaydrinkers ah ok I get it. So you've probably been to Berlin before? The Oktoberfest is in München right now btw :D

We have some cool bars here with some cocktail "specials"...but it never reaches the creativity that you have :(

  • @infight Not berlin, just hamburg, dusseldorf, bielefeld and a few weeks ago Heidelburg. Oktoberfest...next year for me (I hope)

  • @everydaydrinkers Well Oktoberfest is pretty good. (even though the weather is...well let's say not good right now). But for tourists it just shows the stereotype German and the beer is pretty expensive there.

In Berlin we have a realy nice location called "Haus der 100 Biere". So if u ever visit Berlin you should realy get there and try it out :)

  • @everydaydrinkers

holy shit, you were in Bielefeld? Thats close to where I live! ;) Great show, greetings.

  • @itsbone141 nice! Yeah, I was at Uni Bielefeld (drove from Kriefeld and back every day for a week...long drive)

  • Shut Your damn mouth and get the damn point.

  • @gtaleone It's not just about the recipe, it's the conversation. These videos feel like drinking with a buddy. They're more entertaining than any of the other cocktail videos on here.

Then again, I honestly don't drink too often, so I might not share your urgency in hearing the recipe.

  • @TheRealAkaRai I am not in interested in his conversation

  • @gtaleone Then that's where we differ.

  • dr.pepper tastes like tootsie rolls to me

  • DO GIN AND MILK NEXT!

  • shut the fuck up and get to the point. very unprofessional with all that talking.

  • @nissan420a never said I was doing something professional. I thought "common man" cocktails pretty much called that out :)

  • shut the fuck up and get to the point. very unprofessional with all that talking.

  • ya i cant stand light beer.. its piss water and has thet horrible after taste and dark beer doesnt have as bad an aftertaste

  • hahaha we in Serbia have similar "cocktail" where you put shot of rakija into beer.

It is called "beton" or "concrete" in english.

Did you ever try rakija ?

  • @SlavaRodu No, I've never had the opportunity to try Rakija. There is always something new out there to try!

  • i think he made a mess...lol

  • The 151 is just for the flame, tastes just as good without it.

  • Hey mate, have you ever tried a lager called Hoegaarden?

  • Dr. Pepper is prune flavored. Prunes are dried plums. Amaretto is made from apricots, which are closely related to plums. Maybe that has something to do with it.

  • @criskity im not sure about the dr. pepper but i know amaretto is almond flavored not apricot...

  • ever try jager and milk???

  • @TheSnKProductions no, not that I recall. :)

  • @TheSnKProductions we always drink it with chocolate milk

  • @everydaydrinkers well still u use a few of their ideas but u yourself make the drinks and probably put a twist on their ideas

  • @everydaydrinkers no way man u got a seriously creative mind i mean i usually drink just straight vodka or whiskey but i used of few of ur recipes(by like following your video) and i have to give them a 10 outta 10.

  • @pspguy222 my audience has a creative mind, I just reflect their ideas at everyone. I'm a channel to direct the awesome and splash its sauce across the masses. :-)

  • u can also substitute the rum for pepsi it works good fill your glass half full of pepsi and beer and drop a shot of amaretto in it and it will fizz up and it taste exactly like dr pepper

  • come on buddy learn how to pour a beer. i do these drinks quite often and they dont taste right unlss u let the 151 carmalize with the amaretto for about 12 seconds, thats why u have to light it on fire.

  • its probably the almond in the amaretto that makes it taste like dr pepper right? dr pepper has a hint of almond in it. and amaretto is essentially an almond liquor

  • @mathuv Oh, perhaps its the almond yes! Great catch.

  • this guy is a genius

  • @pspguy222 lol, you must be talking about someone else.

  • Dr. Pepper has 72 flavors :-)

  • do you think captain morgan 151 would work as well?

  • yeah! I just can't get that here for some reason.

  • Your missing rootbeer schnapps <--- mispell???? but your missing that try it next time

  • dr pepper is sarspirella dude

  • That's the name! I couldn't remember...

  • hey mate do you know any cocktails that have actual dr pepper in them? if you do id love to see that.

  • The only one I know off-hand that I've done is "Christmas In a Cup" - search it on youtube or everydaydrinkers and you'll find it (I'm in a Santa costume)

  • haha sweet cheers for all the mad cocktails mate.

  • u have to chug that drink its like a irish car bomb u cant just take little drinks

  • As stated in the video... this is correct. You're supposed to chug it. As I said, I had a long day ahead of me (and I often record five shows at once, chugging isn't exactly a smart idea for me)

  • what does speed it up mean... i like the long vids.. LONGER THE BETTER

  • I love that I don't even get a chance to ask the question before someone else already does! I was wondering the same thing...it's 5 minutes long... that's a pretty short video.

I've got a few 18 minute ones, ya think THIS is long :) Of course, those are tequila tastings but still.

  • Almost like an Irish Car Bomb without the fire...and different alcohols of course.

    You heard of it?

  • LOVE Irish Car Bombs!

  • Yeah, I've gotta do the irish car bomb next. :)

  • Yes! They taste just like coffee (to me at least)

  • SPEED IT UP
