  • How do you not show the a bit of video of inside the case after it was installed? I want to know what it looks like and how much space is left between the radiator/fans and the motherboard. I would also like to see that it does interfere with anything like the ram or the drive bays.

  • @Davetacular45 You use the mounting bracket that is already on there. The bracket that corsair give you won't fit on there.

  • tell me where do i find cogar fans ?

  • Nice thanks worked some case Half X

  • Blow ur fucking nose

  • Can anyone tell me why there are no holes for the backplate on my asrockx79 Extreme3? Not sure how I am supposed to screw it on.

  • nice video mate. so you don't need the extra fans on the radiator? you can just attached the radiator to the top of the case and then have the 200mm fans on top?

  • isnt the paste applied there already?

  • The thermal paste... Why so much. You are going to get worse heat transfer. I know this because I have custom water cooling

  • dude.. not pointing at your push pull configuration. but top part, u shouldn't put another two of stock casing fans. as they will interrupt your radiator air flow.

  • extremely helpful video. Please keep on making those :)

  • so how is the airflow setup?

Front Fan - Throwing Air in?

    Rear Fan -?

    Side Fan?

    Top Fans - out?

My H100 is coming tomorrow and i need to find best air flow setup for H100.

  • @xD3S1x In the haf x, front and side are in the rest are out.

  • please tell me it fit on cooler master HAF 912 advanced ,please help ma

  • @dev1597 yes it should

  • Nice video, however it would be nice to see an image of the case with the H100 installed just to see what the case looks like inside.

  • how much better si this over a stock cooler or 212 evo with 2 fans

  • @robthatguyx It's liquid cooling for a reason my child, it'll achieve much higher stable OC than any air cooler stock or aftermarket. But if you aren't going to OC there's no reason to get a H100 or any liquid cooling system.

  • @NeoOsiris19 im goiing to 4.5 i5 25k

  • Why did you remove the Thermal paste that came on the H100 its much better then the Arctic silver ???

  • whats the point in putting the 2 200mm fans back in the case if your using a push pull config or you could have just used the 200mm fans instead of the 120mm fans pulling the air out.

  • Huh??

  • Hi. first of all Merry Christmas. Can I ask where you got the extended screws from. Am I right in saying you are UK based? been looking around in the UK and not sure the best place that stocks the needed screws.

  • Hi, firstly thanks for the helpful guide. I have a quick question though, basically when I install my second 200MM fan at the top of the case (the ones that's at the front) I cannot get the top part of the case back on, I had to remove the USB 3.0 front I/O connections, this is annoying because I want the fan and the front USB 3.0 but I cannot have both, did you manage to get around this problem without having to lose the USB 3.0 or?

  • im getting cpu fan error...

  • its not a custom loop u dont need to test it

  • Can you take it off after you put it on?

  • @Profoundsoup yes

  • hi maybe you can help me... i have a cooler master cosmos s case and i want to know if is it easy to install a h100 cooling system...

  • @papapit1 it should be easy but you might have to play around with the rad as of the cross bar

  • thanks for the information.....i found it very useful

  • @alwaysaused thanks

  • also this is overkill.... giant LED fans on top of two more fans... with two more fans under radiator...

  • i may be wrong but the top fans (on top of radiator look like they are oriented to to pull air into the case... so it would be push-push and that's not right....

  • @eagletwo13 they are pushing air out

  • @eagletwo13 You can always easily tell which side of the fan pushes air out by looking for the circular guard (usually has a circular sticker on it) with the spokes. Thats always the side air comes out of. The open side is where it pulls from. This video is correct.

  • @wdmnetwork Haha i realized my mistake. I got kind mixed up because usually you Pull air from outside the case into the radiator.

  • Aside from the fact you are putting on the thermal paste completely wrong and that I think putting on the radiator first would be easier/safer.... good video!

  • @eagletwo13 yes i know i should have placed the rad first but i was not thinking? also theres no right or wrong way to apply paste. I was told by a professional computer repair guy.

  • @dmcgamingclan

There are SO many ways you can improperly apply paste.

You DON'T need cleaning solvent, a paper towel will do.

It DOESN'T matter which brand of CPU cooler you're using.

Whoever told you "There is no wrong way to apply thermal paste!" is obviously not a professional. Incorrect application can lead to leaving too thin a paste, preventing the heat from properly transfering to the sync, to much paste, preventing heat transfer, and can leave air pockets which cause heat build-up.

  • @YiuKorochko Take it from the many years of experience in customer support, PC building, and REAL overclocking expertise from the staff members at forums.overclockers.co.uk rather than me.

  • Thank U 4 the guide! I have 1 question, hoping u could help. The question is: is it possible (theoretically) to install h100 in the 5.25 drive bays( vertically)?

  • @beastalan I think you can but you will have to remove the hot-swappable bays. But i dont think the tubes with reach the CPU?

  • @dmcgamingclan haven't thought about that :(

  • Hey there, I've got an Antec 1200, would the H100 fit in there? I've been having some doubts, so some clarity would be nice! Thanks :)

  • @AdamMcnubbins7 yes it will fit at the rear of the case fine

  • What fans do you use? I expect it is for better noise-performance? Is there a limited thickness? And do they need 4- or 3-pin?

  • @sgsteven13 i use curgar fans and they are very quite and push good amount of air. you can 3 and 4 pin fans does not matter as long they all are the same fans when you are conneting then to the fan controller on the pump. and you will need more screws to do a pull-push config

  • @dmcgamingclan got the same :)

  • Comment removed

  • Hey dude, do all of the necessary screws come with the h100 or do you need to buy your own screws, similar to the ones you mentioned?

  • @jh3496 all screws come with the kit, unless you want to do pull-push you will need extra screws

  • @dmcgamingclan I have the stock fans for now, on an asus sabertooth x79 board. Should I flip the fans around and run a pull config, and flip the 200mm fans ontop? Or would this overheat my case :/

  • @jh3496 it should not overheat your computer as your CPU is not going to run 100% all the time and it wont generate that much heat? as long as you change your side and back front to exhaust, you will be ok.

  • Hello, thanks for the amazing video. By any chance can you tell us the specific informations about the screws used for the push/pull configuration? Thank you

  • @phoenixlala hi, the ones i have got are 6-32 x 1-1/4" Socket Head Screws but you can get any style but has to be that dimensions

  • Hey, can you add the bolt size to the description? Is it M3 x 35mm? Thanks

  • @spiderxjz hi, the ones i have got are 6-32 x 1-1/4" Socket Head Screws but you can get any style but has to be that dimensions

  • i bought the h100 for my corsair 500r and am having problems attaching it when i try to hook it up theres a space between the cpu cooler and processor(i have a an acer mobo i think its h57 its lga 1156 its the one they made for the acer predator g5900-1) what do i do ? thx in advance

  • Great video explaining what we all wanted to know how to thats done very well i hate S$#^ ones....i got my 6/32nd 1" quarter screws at homehardware/homedepot picked up a can of heat resistent/self prime spray paint....painted them black, but they are not half and half thread like corsair stock screws but they are full thread but who cares aslong as they work....cant wait for my new system so i can mount my h100 in my haf :)

  • @drfreak640 thanks, and gl

  • THIS BABY CAN PULL!

  • I bought the H100 for my Haf-X and this video was the only thing that kept me from buying the H80 for the rear fan. The only thing that I find strange is that my thumb screws didn't have a slit for the screw driver, so I had to make them finger tight which had me worried, but I hit 50c at any time when I am using it and not testing it for max temps Thanks for this video.

  • does this cooling system has auto fan speed control or you have to manually change the speeds?

  • so, the temperatures?

  • Comment removed

  • wat fans do you have on the h100?

  • @Filo011 Those are cougar vortexs

  • Thats alot of cooling paste.. should you really use that much? I've heard that you only should put a blob the size of a rice in the middle.. hm?

  • @AnderssonEh well i like to spread it thin and evenly across the cpu as the blob in the middle is not very reliable as it might not spread all across the cpu and might not conduct properly for the best temp results

  • @AnderssonEh OK thanks. Im thinking about getting a H80 or even a H100. Would you recommend the H100 if I can fit it? I also have a HAF X case + 2 fans up top. Another question, are there any negatives with having 2x 200MM fans pounding the radiator + its 4 fans? Or is it only positives? Thanks.

  • @AnderssonEh well as you can see in my other parts of the review i left my 2 200mm fans in as if you look there is a gap between the rad and the case mounting hole and the 200mm fans help removing extra hot air that's in the case. 5c less in my results of the mother board. also the only reason i keep the 2 x 200mm fans at the top to help remove hot air from the GPU as its a phantom 570 and that does not exhaust the hot air directly out to f the case so these help that.

  • @dmcgamingclan Are both the 200mm fans on the top pushing in or out?

  • @AnderssonEh pushing out

  • whats the spec on the machine in the video.

  • @AG112 Intel i7 1155, Asus P67 Sabertooth, 16gb Corsair Vengeance Ram, Gainward 570 Phantom gpu, corsiar 850 PSU, 2x Corsair 120GB Force 3 in raid 0, 2x 600gb VelociRaptors in raid 0 and 1T Seagate hhd,

    Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro 7.1 Soundcard.

  • @dmcgamingclan That;s quite good, barring the ridiculous storage .___.

  • Hey, great video! I have a H70 first gen, but looking to pick up the H100. I have a question for you. What fans are those that you use for the top of the HAF X? ( the clear ones) Ive been looking for good fans for my HAF X but I keep forgetting. Do you like them? Let me know! Thanks!

  • @facella540 they are called coolermaster megaflow and they move alot of air and are very silent

  • Great JOB thank for post

  • are those orange fans (is it Cougar Vortex?) stock fans?

are 4 fans included or just 2 fans?. im planing to buy h100 but i wanna know if there are anything i should buy along with it. please reply.

  • @darooz Corsair H100 comes with 2 corsair fans, you have to buy cougar vortex fans if you want them.

  • Just out of curiosity, what will I gain if I purchase two additional fans for the radiator? With 2 fans on the top and bottom of the radiator as well as my 200mm top fans, what will be gained?

  • hi is your corsair h100 still working wright mine has failed the fans stopped working so i pluged them into my fan control unit the pump is still working thoue good job i was here yo see the fans stop and the little man symbul is on

  • @dinerman2000 mine is still working.

  • @bryantjudoman LOL, the H100 is far better than any air cooling solution, period. That includes the D14.

  • Thanks for such a useful video, I'd be very grateful if you answer one question. Since the fans are taking up space inside the case itself, if there any problems installing larger graphics cards?

  • @pjcnet no there will be no problem installing larger graphics cards

  • does h100 fit on the nzxt hades case:)?

  • @zikkAJAJ it might but it looks like the motherboard its a bit toclose tothe top of the case?

  • did you remove the motherboard to place the backplate first or did you just slip the backplate inbetween the back oh haf x and the motherboard?

  • @tillwolfster i slipped mine in, but its not recommended as it can damage the board

  • Thanks bro, I was looking for a tut because mine is coming in the mail.

  • @dmcgamingclan

if i do the push pull config would i be able 2 fit my CORSAIR CMXAF2 Fan on my memory

  • @fiyastorm2k no there wont be any more room unless its a low profile cooler?

  • Yes thanx for the tutorial. Now do you think this is a better set up than the noctua d14 air cooler?

  • @bryantjudoman well at overclock3D . net they did the test and h100 has beaten it at some test and mostly was neck to neck.

Quote form their site "H100 at maximum in both the 4.2GHz and 4.4GHz the H100 was cooler than the NH-D14 and only beaten by full on watercooling kits."

And that's with the 2 stock fans not 4fans in push-pull config.

  • Oh yea, & what style/ size do I look for? M3? 35mm? Thx!

  • @dman708 the ones i have got are 6-32 x 1-1/4" Socket Head Screw but you can get any style but has to be that dimensions

  • Do u need the extra bolts for 2 extra fans? Don't have my h100 yet, not sure how many bolts come with. Or is it the size of original not right w/ thickness of xtra fans? Don't have a model shop near me. Hardware store or home depot?

  • @dman708 you only need extra bolts if you are going to use extra 2 fans for push pull config. the bolts that come with the cooler fit fine for the fans that come with the cooler

  • Thanks for the video. Are the fan sockets on the cpu block 3 pin or 4 pin? Also are you plugging in 4pin PWM fans into them?

  • @thescreamingninja the fan sockets on the CPU block are 4 pin and you can plugin 3 pin fans with no problem. And yes I am using 4 pin PWM fans. :-)

  • good video, everything looks so shiny and clean :)

  • @xXLaSINdaXx Thanks

  • @xXLaSINdaXx :O Its youu, wowow sooo random!!

  • @xXLaSINdaXx Wait you guys are DMC gaming, knew I recognized it!

  • @Novix6

    you got it :)

  • You are godly. Thanks.

  • Thx for doing this per my request but almost 20 minutes isnt quick ;-p

  • @YourFreeToys Yes lol, I think I should remove that in the title

  • @dmcgamingclan Heh, while it's on my mine as I just started watching this ;-/

Where did you get the 24pin extender cable from. The so called local computer shop isnt know for good quality cables (leads pull out).

  • @YourFreeToys NZXT cable extensions, they have everything apart from only 4pin mobo ext. and IDE (durr)

  • @TheWoWRevelation You know which if any online retailers might carry them ? As for IDE, I rarely use those any more and the 4pin, that I might need because of the OC system I'm working on. Not sure if I'll need the extension but if I do it seems I'm SOL if NZXT doesn't make one.

  • @YourFreeToys Scan I know for sure have all of them including the Leds (get Cold cathodes) im gonna order them soon! Ebuyer also have them. Sorry if you dont live in the UK, but im sure newegg has em in the US and if your from anywhere else...then try get them specially ordered or if you can find a good store then go ahead.

  • @YourFreeToys its a NZXT 24-Pin M/B Extention 250Mm Cb-24P I purchased this from box . co . uk

  • @dmcgamingclan Thx, I hope they ship outside the UK, NewEjj has some cables but not alot of thee ones I would want and that aside, most of what they have isnt braided like the one seen in your video and that's a big selling / buying point for me.
