  • @mentalabsence why don't u have a cry u sook ! and get a bit more angry about a utube video why don't ya ! Loser

  • Sweet, for many of us whom have been moved away from their beloved coast. Thanks for planting the seed.

  • Yeah great invention but applicable I don't think so the cost of mechanical wear might over cost Capitol gains.

  • @Valient6 build it in Dubai. anything is possible there

  • I love it! the training benefits, are endless when you have a wave that not only doesn't end but you don't have to paddle out to the next one when you fall, just wait till the wave comes back around. Also the application of not only surf, skim and body boarders but ease of accessibility may promote some new boarding I haven't even heard of. Love it! but full scale must be extremely expensive, what are your thoughts on total cost?

  • glad I can just walk to the end of my street to the beach. suckers,,,

  • STOP FUCKING TALKING! I'd enjoy it a lot more without your repetitive monotonous annoying American accent. Plus how have you not produced a full sized model in two years?!

  • @mentalabsence calm down. geez...

  • What if you fall near those engines outside the ring? And how to get out the pool? Endless wipe-out? It will push you to the out ring forever?

  • surfing is much more than just riding a wave

  • This is amazing fuck everybody els!!!!

  • hey kevin roberts im a surfer

  • this looks amazing. I look forward to seeing you all making a larger version. I could see this being a huge success. I know it will take a lot of work. I can also see it being a great feature ride at a waterpark. I'll be keeping an eye on you guys, keep up the hard and good work. Looks like a surfer could endlessly surf until he or she wiped out, or until their talent and endurance were exhausted.

  • I hope this happens. Surf spots have reached a saturation point with crowds and there needs to be an alternative way to feel the sensation of riding a wave. To the "purists" who claim a wave machine has no soul, how soulful of an experience is it when there are hundreds of people crammed in an area of beach on all manner of craft competing for two foot dribblers which is what the typical Southern California surf scene has become. Good on you Kevin! I whole heartedly support your efforts!

  • As quoted by dereck zoolander from the movie zoolander...Without further adue i give you the kevin roberts surf pool for people who cant surf!!........What is this?(chucks it on the ground)A WAVE POL FOR ANTS!!!!How can we expect people to learn how to surf if they cant fit in the wave pool!kevin its just a...i dont wanna hear your excuses the wave pool has to be at least...3 times as big..lol

  • @bcx1982 it said 1/36th scale model... and yes I replied to a comment 1 year old lol

  • congratulations you have kicked ass

  • The model is neat. But I think I saw it some 5-6 years ago.

    Any new developements?

I still favor a standing wave like tube6 or dreamwave. They are much more versatile.

I wrote my masters thesis about manmade waves. Is there any data on surfthering? Can you change the bottom? How much energy would you need to run the wave?

  • Way too much, this is 1/36th scale. Not practical, standing waves would take much less energy to run.

  • @sumguy8 well people are still trying to create perfect wave like a natural wave. That is by far the most inefficient wave variety.

  • The wave looks nice and random, unlike other manmade waves. Good luck man.
