A little tip for you. that 35 chain you got on there is not strong. you might want to use a 10 or 16 chain because if that flies apart at 50 or 60mph it could hurt or kill you. I'm just looking out for you.

( within reason of course. , there was a recorded run of aroudn 75mph via gps. is it dangerous? sure as hell is, im one that its owner is wanting to sell it to, and am considering it. because i dont drive cars anymore. due to health. but need somethign that can get me from a doc appt to home and LOOKS legal lol. in this litigious society. those people want warning stickers put on nerf darts. go figure lol

But I have reeded ported and custom ported the 120 Raket engine and is 30 percent more than you are used too from this engine .It also has fenders on it and raised bars

the aluminum frame is a bit more shaky then the steel frame but the lowness of the handlebars isnt a flaw, its a preference, the scooter wasnt ever suppose to be for street use as its illegal anyway, the legal limit is only 49cc. haha. as i saw in your videos, your chain could be adjusted slightly, that will cause an enormous amount of vibration, you dont want to hear it, thats when you know its right. and second of all, you have the bigger sprocket, i have both but i dont top out at 50 like you

There is NO cc limit for standup scooters. It's a loophole in the law.

I have read all the laws pertaining to motorized scooters in the vehicle code, and

there is noting mentioned about a cc limit, or HP limit.

If you can find a section of code that mentions it, I'll give you props.

FYI,

It kicks ass now. I fixed all the vibration problems

with rubber engine bushings, and lead anti vibe in the handlebars.

It takes off super fast now that I changed gearing and put different lower engagement clutch springs in it.

Just because a scooter doesn't run right at some point,that does not mean it's problems will never be solved, and I solved them for sure.

It kicks so much ass now I can't even tell you.

If I was seated it would be another story.

I tried many different techniques, but this twister had to go.

I was just curious about how they compare because the Big Boy is what everybody used to think was the king scoot'. Still would be a cool scooter to ride off pavement, though far from as nimble as a GTR. You have nothing to prove, I have no doubt it'll do Interstate speeds! Oh yeah, the GPN user waldo9942 owns/ed a Big Boy with a BBK, but it tops out at 65 MPH. It's 64.9cc and the same engine as found on the KTM 65 SX/XC (and the regular 49cc Big Boy engine is found on the 50 SX).

From what I've read it sounds like it's not often to get into the top end with those scooters. Is it just a matter of stability/holy shit this is too fast or the carb not being adjustable? Haha!

Theoretical top speed stock is in the 70s,

and that just assumes 2 things.

1. That the motor should be able to reach it's

CDI's limiter at 13k

2. that the motor can pull the stock gearing. I can say that it would and it can.

The stock carb's( WG-8) high jet is not adjustable,

however substituting a WB-39 would allow you H/L jet adjustments.

There is a head kit available (Red Head)

and even with mild porting, this motor could easily pull more that 13K.
